Mission Start! (a series of action mini-quests)

[X] Your family- the person who's after you might try to use them as leverage
[X] The Requisitions Department- Though stingy, you might be able to get some extra equipment off them if you grovel and beg.

[X] A contact in law enforcement- They might be able to give you advance warning of who the hostile agent is
[X] Your House- You've got some extra equipment stashed here (and you'll be in deep shit if your bosses ever find out about this), and your family needs to be protected.

Mission 1, Turn 1: Being Followed
As you dash through the corridors, your cell phone comes up as you make a call. The phone rings for five agonizing seconds, before someone on the other end picks up the receiver and asks "Mom, why are you calling so early?"
Tech Roll: 0 dice (Alicia), vs 2d8 (???) / ??? automatically wins
Hearing the sound of your teenage son's voice greatly eases the stress you're under, and you reply with the secret message you established with him months ago "I called in a vacation day; I've got a fresh block of fudge for you and I should be home soon."

For his part, your son keeps his act together as he replies "Thanks mom! See you soon!" and hangs up. Well, you think he's kept his act together; he might have just forgotten the code-phrase to put the house into immediate lockdown.

As soon as you put your phone back into your pocket, you reach the base's parking garage. Hurriedly getting into your heavily modified two-seater sports car, you begin to make a beeline for home. However, you're still a few minutes away when you check your mirror and realize that you're being followed by what honestly looks like a rental van. How do you want to deal with them?

[] Evade- Maybe you can lose them in the heavy traffic associated with living near Chicago

[] Outrun Them- Your car's easily capable of handling with acrobatic grace at ninety miles per hour. A mere rental van has no chance to keep up, especially in this traffic.

[] RAMMING SPEED!- There's something to be said for having had your car up-armored. Namely, if you hit another vehicle just right you can send it flipping end over end.

Time to go full B-movie. Can we start blaring background music as we charge?
