IC - Memento Mori (Fire Emblem/Advance Wars)
Fire Emblem: Memento Mori is a freeform RP crossover of Fire Emblem Fates, Fire Emblem Awakening, Advance Wars Dual Strike, and Advance Wars Days of Ruin.

Original RP Description:
Ylisse is involved in reconstruction efforts in Plegia, in concert with Valm, Regna Ferox, and Chon'sin. However, a series of mysterious incidents threatens to tear apart the hard-won peace and set the nations against each other once again. At the same time, the Anna Merchant Guild comes bearing grave news. They have lost control of the Outrealm gates, and now entire foreign armies from other worlds have been scattered across the world.

There will be 11 possible player slots to fill. Each player slot is a nation/faction, with a certain amount of characters they can control specifically aside from the nation in general. OCs within that nation/faction are allowed.
I may be forgetting some characters.
Future Children, aside from Lucina, are unaffiliated at the moment, and can be discussed among players who gets whom.
Also, yes, there are two Kamuis and two Azuras, they both come from their respective choice timelines.

So far we have four players, if I'm remembering correctly.

Current Players
@TheBleachDoctor: FEF Conquest Timeline
@DrZero7114: FEF Birthright Timeline
@MissingJimbo: Brenner's Wolves
@TyrantYuyuka: Ylisse
@dnzrx: Orange Star
@EternalStruggle: Black Hole
@De3ta: Plegia
@Azecreth: Green Earth
@Megaolix: IDS

Anyways, any faction from the Advance Wars or Fire Emblem games is available, aside from what is already taken. The setting is in Ylisse, post-game.
Keep in mind that any faction from Advance Wars will be cut off from supply, and their operational capacity will be limited.

Current open native factions:
Chon'sin
Regna Ferox
Valm

Current open foreign factions:
Yellow Comet
Blue Moon
NRA

Any non-filled foreign faction will not make an appearance in the RP.

This RP will start soon; within a day or so.

How big are the factions? are we talking about entire divisions or just a company-sized force?

Fire Emblem Awakening Factions are full blown nations.
Fire Emblem Fates Factions (no Revelations, sorry) are just the respective siblings along with a small amount of soldiers.
Advance Wars Dual Strike Factions are small amounts of mechanized units and foot soldiers, really just an escort force for a CO, not anything meant for a conventional fight.
Advance Wars Days of Ruin... depends. But still small. Although Brenner's Wolves are like mostly civvies.

Don't worry guys, I shall try my best to keep the NOHRIAN SCUM to minimum.

*Glances at Takumi*

Kinda sucks that Brenner's Wolves got picked. No way am I touching the Bandits, the NRA has Grayfield in it and I don't have too much experience with Intelligent Systems.

Just wondering how this will be played. Is any knowledge of Advance Wars necessary?
No, not strictly.
Because the Advance Wars and Fates factions are transplanted into Awakening via Outrealm Gate, no knowledge of anything other than your respective faction is needed.
OOC discussion will be happening a lot to work out what will happen, though, since cross-franchise interactions, especially between a fantasy and modern setting, are always messy.

I haven't finished the game yet (been buying all dem skills in castle invasions) so maybe the battle after Corrin's choice is made?
Sure!

I may go with Lazuria as the second hero faction in Days of Ruin. Also:

That Zettai Ryouiki.

I'm planning on doing this after Greyfield's betrayal, FYI. If that's the case, you only have her, Gage, and a few hundred underequipped men and women.
Oh, that's actually where I wanted to start. I must repeat that Grayfield's a dick and a half.

At best, I can scrounge up a few Recon and Tank units. Maybe some AA to boot.

The funny thing is, Greyfield reminds me of Sen. Armstrong, with his Social Darwinist views. However, he lacks the bravado and NANOMACHINES (SON!!) to pull it off the way Stephen did.

EDIT:
...Upon further reading, I think I'll awkwardly take my money back. I have no idea how to play a nation game.

Green Earth, if you'd please. If anyone is going to be showing people the power of machines, it's them. :D

It's more like you control a bunch of characters who happen to run a country!
If that helps.
By the way, if you want Robin, they are in charge of Plegia.

Sure. You going to have all the CO'S or just a few?
