So I noticed there was no megaman thread here so I decided to start one. To give an initial idea pitch, here something based on the failed attempt to make a starforce 4
Brotherbands, a concept that was made to bring the world together but ultimately humanity can ruin the most idealistic of ideas. Brotherbands are now used to subtle impose a social order, those who play nice get special benfits like getting into better schools, getting faster buses, and getting discounts while those who can not fit in has to pay more for things, lose opportunities for school and work and generally have the police less likely to cut them a break for simple thing like jaywalking.
Geo stellar once he saw what they were doing to his father's work could not stand by and let it happen. However even his fame as the hero megaman couldn't change society the way he wished, to truly change things he had to go rogue. Now he works with the similarly minded descendant of Lan Hikari and a group of rebels to work underground to take down the tyranical government.
Meanwhile Luna Platz, as the daughter of a very rich family never saw how the brother band system had been coopted for tyranny. All she saw was one day Geo disappeared without telling anyone anything and the next day he was working as some sort of rebel terrorist. A long while back when things were still good her wizard Vogue had aborbed the remanded of Orphiuca during another remission of it taking over and it became wave change capable em being from that. She now works at the Satella police as an em wave change operative to find Geo and get him to fucking explain himself.
-in hypothetical game there would be two stories, one following Geo trying working as a rebel and Luna working for the man slowly learning of the corruption going on in society. Probably would end in GeoxLuna.
-Geo would be using Megaman Rogue form to basically cut himself off completely from brotherband to keep him off the grid. He doesn't like it but it a necessary evil. Probably has long term negative physical and mental effects that could be explored.
