This is a Worm/Fate Quest inspired by Projection Quest, and most Servant-based Fate/Worm fics. Taylor summons Servants, you control said Servants. Pretty simple.
This initial post wil be the repository for general rules and information going forwar. For now:
Your maximum total suite of Servants will be eight - one of each of the standard seven classes, and one Extra Class. Only one Servant can be actively controlled by you at any time, with the others being weakened, though you can change which one every morning. You'll only be able to summon a new one at spaced-out intervals, so plan carefully.
Note that you can choose not only the 'exotic' Extra Classes (Ruler, Avenger, Moon Cancer, Foreigner) that are wholly outside the normal system, but also 'simple' Extra Classes, which simply carry on the logic of the standard classes, focusing on a single item or skill, and extent it to something not included in the original seven. For instance, Shielder, Gunner, Brawler, or Healer. (Yes, it has to end in -er.)
The overall feel I want to shoot for is powerful, but not excessively OP. A Champion in Earth Bet is a roughly what I'd point to - you would be strong, and it definitely should be possible to conquer everything Earth Bet can throw at you and even make the world as a whole a better place, but not effortlessly steamroll the entirety of Worm. Since Fate can get pretty nuts, Servants that are excessively powerful may be nerfed or even vetoed entirely to fit this. Other than that, though, go wild. Demi-Servants, Pseudo-servants, Divine Spirits, historical figures who don't even have a canon Servant version in the Fate series yet, go wild.
Last important thing to note: Keep the Servant's character and personality in mind. While the questers' will is the main driving force here, trying to make a Servant do something completely opposite to their nature may lead to the command being distorted or even vetoed outright, at QM discretion. For an easy example, trying to make Gilgamesh listen to the commands of anyone other than his Master is almost guaranteed to fail.
Does X Nasuverse thing exist in Earth Bet?
The big things, Dead Apostles, Ultimate Ones, Magus Association, etc., - Probably not, or if they do, only in a very diminished form. In this world, Bet people have souls, Origins, elements, and magic circuits, and can on very rare occasions, manifest 'natural' powers like psychic mutations and mystic eyes. The practice of magecraft exists, but is quite rare, and there exists no formal system or large organizations. This is still primarily Bet, with magic stuff only a footnote at the margins of the larger story. The history is the real-world version, no 'King Arthur existed and also was actually a girl' here.
That said, I might still drop in some Bet versions of Nasuverse characters, so keep on your toes.
Hey wouldn't X draw the attention of Gaia/the Counter Force -
Don't worry about it.
