I don't Even Really like ME and I like this story......

Personally I think Shepard needs a Battletech Atlas Mech as his body.....

The human mind isn't really equipped to deal with body swapping on that level. It's not like getting into a different car. Imagine if you will, that one day you woke up and had a third arm. A couple of months after that, you now have one arm, but six legs.

Or if your brain is sure that you 'died' when your body ate that rocket, but you're not really dead.

You start losing track of what you are, what makes yourself.
 
My only nitpick in all this is that Mashadar didn't use the canon (default) name for Shepard. Its a minor irritation when you have people naming Rolo Shepard, Maximillian Shepard, Joe Shepard, Allisia Shepard, Kumia Shepard...

But in the grand scheme of things, Alex isn't as bad as the other Shepards.

Face it, that is exactly what 'Cortex Command' does. Why does it seem like you're less suggesting things but demanding that they be implemented despite the author's wishes?

Yes, his full name is Alexander. Alex for short.
