    LOGRIS FACE: Though I cannot think why.

    LOGRIS: "Perhaps she is upset that you disregarded her advice. I believe she said something about telling you not to fight Dragonlord Mei."

    "Oh, yeah, there was something about that."

    LOGRIS: "She is probably also worried about you. She seems to have a good heart."

    An apple, thrown by an unseen assailant, sails over her shoulder and bounces off a tree trunk.

    LOGRIS: "And good hearing. But an indifferent throwing arm."

    She sips her tea, waiting.

    [ ] I think I found my trunk from the Kazudaris. I'm having it sent to your tent.
    [ ] I remembered something about you.
    [ ] Have you been dishonest with me?
    [ ] I have forgotten what we are doing.

    LOGRIS: "Did you really? How remarkable. That would be the first piece of salvage from the flagship we have recovered. Aside from us, that is. Tell me, where did you find it?"

    "It was stuck in a little islet off the coast, about a mile north up the beach."

    LOGRIS: "I will see if I cannot wrangle the dragonlord to send a detail of my former issues out to prod around for more wreckage. Who knows what we might find?"

    "My chest was locked and I don't have the key."

    LOGRIS: "I may be able to help with that... but Vesper, how did you recognize the sea chest as yours without opening it? I happen to know it was unlabeled."

    "I remembered it, sort of."

    LOGRIS: "Hm. So you do remember some details. Interesting."

    FINCHER: "Hey, are you going to fight or what? I don't have to be here."

    "Didn't you say Mei told you to follow me?"

    FINCHER: "Yeah, well, shut up."

    LOGRIS: "Perhaps now isn't the best time. Can we discuss your memories later?"

    LOGRIS' FACE: Without Fincher listening.

    [ ] No, I want to talk about it now.
    [ ] Okay, but I don't think we should spar, I'm not feeling great.

    Your headache is back. This time it's an odd bubbling sensation, like pressure inside your skull is finding relief by pushing small amounts of air around your eyeballs. It is so distracting that you almost miss the patch of green.

    LOGRIS: "Very good."

    She finishes her tea and sets the set aside in a small lacquered box.

    LOGRIS: "I really should thank Usamir for letting me borrow his things, I would be lost without the little comforts."

    You stand awkwardly, unsure of what you are supposed to be doing.

    LOGRIS: "You won't be needing the sword. Or the hammer."

    Oh, right. You remove the weapons from your cord belt and lay them against Fincher's tree.

    HAWK SWORD: Best of luck, lady!

    You give the sword a surrepticious nod of acknowledgement.

    Logris is standing, streching out like a bird preening itself.

    LOGRIS: "We should start slow, I think. Let's see your stance."

    "My stance. Right, I know what that is."

    [ ] Use Mantis Form.
    [ ] Use Water Dragon Form.
    [ ] Use Opening Gate Form.
    [ ] Use Flaming Energy Ball Form.
    [ ] Just raise your fists in front of you and hope she doesn't notice you don't know what you are doing.

    Sweat beads on your forehead as you stand on one leg and wave your hands in front of you, palms down, in a vague approximation of what you think a water dragon might be like.

    You don't know Water Dragon Form. You don't know any forms. You're a terrible fraud.

    Logris frowns.

    LOGRIS: "What is that?"

    "Water Dragon Form." you lie.

    LOGRIS: "Is it really?"

    "No, it really isn't."

    The frown persists.

    LOGRIS: "Talonlord Fincher's report suggested that you are an accomplished combatant. Was she in error?"

    "I don't think so. i just don't know how I know how to fight."

    LOGRIS: "Mm. Under the circumstances I think it is probably not safe for us to continue."

    "Why not?"

    LOGRIS: "Because if your instincts do not magically take over, you might be badly hurt in full contact sparring. And if they do, I might be hurt instead."

    [ ] Please, the more practice I get the better I will be able to control it.
    [ ] Can't you just teach me stuff?
    [ ] Alright, maybe we should give this a miss.

    Mantis and Water Dragon are actual styles. Flaming Energy Ball is probably made up. Opening Gate has also been mentioned as being an actual thing we've trained in, though original to the quest.
