A Note on Mals stats.

they are maxed, at least on Baseball skills at 40 until he is 12, when puberty kicks in for him and he begins to grow up.

It's more of a you know... thing. Because what kid really develops a 90 mph fastball at 9... no sir, I am trying to keep this somewhat realistic. :V

Traits:

The Boy who Chased the Ding!: You believe that the way to win games is by out-scoring your opponent, crushing baseballs, and sending them flying across the fences. (You begin with an additional 15 Power, but suffer a -10 to contact, baserunning, stealing, and other additional debuffs you are too young to Train)

A Red Sox Hatred: Dad taught you that there are two things that make a good Red Sox fan. A Love of the Sox, and hatred for the Yankees. Not necessarily in that order. And emulating his own… mannerisms has made you a little… harder to (-5 to all social rolls)

Two Sons: You and your brother are always close, and you will always share a bond that will never change. But Gram taught you one thing that you can never really forget. Baseball is about having fun. (+20 to training rolls with your brother, and all stats, once you are older then 13, can get all the way to 60.)

Dad (Mike Riely): Your Father is a man who loves and cares for you deeply. But he is bitter, angry, and above all, driven to see the dreams of baseball immortality. And revenge against the New York Yankee's.

Gram Riely: Your Older Brother, the guy who made you fall in love with the game... and the one who taught you how to feel the wind... and well. You still don't know.

Joe Riely: Your Twin... the one who is your body, your pal, your best friend. Now if only he could stop playing video games and play outside more.

Mom (Sarah Riely) Your mother is someone who loves you unconditionally. And every time you talk to her, you think the world will be better
Why is he so smol ?
Hopefully puberty will give him 70 cm of height or something

[X] Write in: A new glove...but it has more padding and looks different than all of the other typical baseball gloves. This glove is a special glove...for a special position on the field. The one who wields this glove is the smartest player on the field. The one who wears this glove controls the entire team's defensive strategy. The one who wears this glove must understand everything about his entire teams capabilities as well as the capabilities of any current or future opponent. One glove to rule them all, one glove to find them, one glove to bring them all and into the diamond bind them.

[X]A New Bat: A New Bat… made of Carbon fiber, so it's lighter and easier to use… but it might be not… allowed in the baseball little league.

[]The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Extended Edition: Holy Lord... The Lord of the Rings! AWESOME!

The Box of movies was incredibly heavy, because it was not only the LOTR extended editions, it was an entire cavalcade of Tolkien stuff, a map of Middle earth that was glossy and big, and even as the entire freaking thing was covered in gorgeous art.

It was like going to the movies and seeing the posters again. You turned to see your parents who knew that you were going to be watching the entire trilogy for the next few days on Joe's new portable DVD player.

And movies were all you were going to see for the foreseeable future.

And it was going to be incredible.

"Thanks mom, thanks dad." You said happily.

They both laughed as you continued to work, but there was really nothing else that caught your eye.

Gram had gotten some signed memorabilia, as well as… holy moly. "Is that a summer ball invitation?" You asked.

"Yeah." Dad replied. "Seems that you were invited… and we paid the fee."

"AWESOME!" Gram then hugged mom and dad and than… there was laughter and tears.

G was going to win.
-------------------------------------------------
Christmas time was over soon enough and you soon found yourself back to school, back to the boring day-to-day of classes and… teachers.

But one of the greatest things you hoped for was to get back to your friends and talk about your Christmas.

And as you entered the school, clustered around the play structure and running around playing The Floor is Lava, were your friends.

"Hey MAL!" Phil shouted.

Who were you most excited to meet back up with?:

[]Sarah Wilkins: She was one of your oldest friends from kindergarten, and she was always that one person who came to you, gave a handshake and a hug, and asked about your day, even when you clearly did not want to deal with anyone else.

[]Johnny Martinez: Your other oldest friend. He was confrontational, in your face and always liked to talk at the swing set before jumping high in the air and rolling onto the bark. He was… well… energetic and hilarious.

[]Phil Collins: He was one of the classmates who was quiet, thoughtful, and had to be forced to spend time with… well anyone. He just mostly stood by the rocks, talking to himself, and pretending he was a hero, someone admired and respected. And maybe he looked up to you, with how confident you were… maybe… or he was just plain weird.

[]Kevin Adams: Your… oddball. He's a friend who was obsessed with filmmaking, and whose father was a member of Disney. He's always coming up with big crazy ideas that were insanely fun to hear about… and sad when he could never make them. You don't know why you keep him around with your friends, or how he came in in the first place. But he was here now.

[]No one: you were not really happy with seeing your friends too much… you just wished your school allowed you to do something other than kickball. That would be nice.

AN: Enjoy.

We voted for Lord of the Rings, so we like movies. And he seems to want to be a filmmaker...

I might be thinking about after a baseball career, which may or may not be outside the scope of this quest, but I'd like to have Mal take an interest in filmmaking. Maybe they start their own version of 30 for 30?

What if I told you, two men were willing to destroy the New York Yankees, at any cost?

Well if they make a movie about us. We know who will be making it.
