Mmm.

Mostly accurate. I can see only one mistake, myself.

Why, no, I'm not going to tell you who. :V

In all honesty, I'm 99% sure that the wrong one is the identity thief, if only because that'd be giving two expies to one SVer. But it did kinda fit, so...meh, iunno.

Yep, I am pretty stumped on the identity thief one. Mort is really the only guy I can think of. Hmmm

I mean...
Representing The Bird Above Hope and Despair was the sole survivor of his wrath. A once-human being that had mutated into something that was closer to an Other, but still like nothing that had ever existed. And indeed, the only way it could exist was to steal the existence of others. This was the being known as 'The Thief of Identity.'
Is pretty much an inversion of the mort-hero for the backstory I wrote for quadruple-SV-MG thingy that may or may not be a prototype of this one.
(I dub them the "Velocias". You'd have Velocia-Symphony, Velocia-Samsara, Velocia-Spiral, and Velocia-Sovereign - they were based off Nanimani, he-who-started-the-quest-orphanage (I mean Samsara is the cycle of life and death and rebirth, right? Now, looking at some of wdango's quests.... )myself, and Mort.)

The forces of darkness were insidious; not only could they make men betray one another, but they could corrupt and infect. One species had the capability to convert their foes into more of them - for every one of the troops that fell, a monster would arise in their stead. But though they had the strength in numbers, humanity endured. One soldier, as he lay dying, saw that a spirit was coming towards him. And so, with his last breath, as the monster sank it's fangs into him, stabbed it through the heart. Halfway behind man and monster, the man stood back up - alive, if not unchanged. The man fled from the battle field, horrified of what he had become - a shadowed, walking skeleton. Yet, though his body may have been transformed, his spirit was unbroken and his heart remained true. He had the power of a monster, yet the mind of a man. With the General and Hero behind him, the Skeleton was able to save those who were lost; the numbers that were lost were suddenly being restored. With the ability to actually decrease the number of the enemy, it seemed as if victory was in their grasp...but it was not enough.
TLDR; Mort = mutated dude stuck halfway between man and monster that can mutate others.

With the "good" one de-mutating people and turning them back to human, whereas the bad one is taking away people's identity; that is, turning them into something they aren't?

*shrug*
Kinda reaching, but...perhaps - the Mortifairy is the "mind" while the Thief is the "body"? Naturally, if the soul left the body, it'd be possible for the more monstrous side to take over.
Course, that's assuming that any of my draft even got imported - but I'm assuming at least some of it was, given...
And then, when all seemed lost, a boy in the city came to age. Born after the Other conquered the world of men, this boy took one look at the despair that cloaked the world, and declared 'No more.'
The forces of darkness could strike fear into humanity, draining away at their courage and their willpower. Fear turned to doubt, doubt caused them to turn on another, and that led to selfishness. They would whisper into the deepest, darkest corners of the heart, and make those little smudges a little darker, a little deeper. But humanity would not give up that easily. One boy would not accept defeat, and dreamed of a brighter tomorrow. He ventured close to the battlefield, where he saw how the other used humanity's emotions against them, and learned. From the darkest shadows shine the brightest of lights; the boy learned how to harness the power of humanity's hopes and dreams. And with that power, the boy inspired the armies gathered by the general; making the impossible possible, and allowing the two factions to fight on equal ground. What he learned gave humanity the ability to stand their ground, and his words cast out the darkness. He became a Hero; a leader who both lead humanity and empowered it. And people aspired to follow his example; the darkness in their hearts being overcome by humanity's innate idealism and goodness. But sheer power was not enough.

[X] What happened to Ciara?
[X] Sheer luck alone stops tragedy from striking. Luck, or determination, mixed with a hint of Magic?

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if everyone else gets the cool parts while Bondo and I are stuck playing those guys who world build at the end of each episode.

I thought we would end up as the two villain duo that are trying to claw their way up in the hierarchy. :V
