A Nanoha, Symphogear, and Madoka crossover quest. It is the year 2043, and you are just transferring into Lydian Private Music Academy, and find yourself caught up in the interplay of numerous different factions of what are ultimately magical girls.
Running. Footsteps echo throughout the vast hallway, causing ripples through the metallic walls, as if the corridor itself is liquid. Heavy breathing sounds in your ears... oh, it's you who's running. But from what?
Bolts of blue light whiz past you, coming from behind.
Oh right, those. You were running from those floating, cylindrical drones, trying to reach the exit.
There's an exit? Of course there's an exit. Why wouldn't there be an exit?
Your suppositions are confirmed when you encounter a ladder upwards. You quickly scale it, desperate to escape the the Gadget Drones. Gadget Drones? Where did that term come from? You quickly decide to ignore it and climb up to the surface... You were underground, it seemed.
Upon reaching the top of the ladder, you find yourself in... a cavern? There are massive pillars of what looks like stone or wood strewn about the landscape, connecting to each other far above and forming some sort of matrix of what looked to be branches. Between them, there lay massive panes of red glass, resembling the stereotypical image of an insect's eyes.
In the distance, you see a massive creature carving its way through the landscape, getting closer to your location with every passing second. It looks like a Noise, but is far larger than any of the images of Noise you've seen, as well as looking... more real, somehow, while simultaneously being much more distorted. Around it, bright lights of every color flash around it. Beams of purple light, the afterimages of blue, red, and orange wings, and a steadily-growing pink star, among many other lights. You take off your necklace, and grasp a bright gem. In an instant, you too are flying towards the monster, ready to-
An incessant beeping sounds throughout your room, causing your eyes to shoot open, dispelling the dream. You turn your head to look at the clock, which reads "5:30 AM." You blink in bafflement, and it takes a moment for you to remember why you set it for such an early hour. After all, school didn't start until... right. This was your first day at Lydian Private Music Academy, having just transferred in from your previous high school. You hadn't been able to fully move in yet, which was why you were staying at home for the time being.
...Well, "transferred in" may not be the best term. The fact of the matter was that your previous school had been closed, without any real warning beyond a general air of apprehension and drudgery. Honestly, you had been glad to get out of there by the end. It wasn't that anything bad had happened, it just had an extremely depressing atmosphere around the end there. You weren't sure why. At least it hadn't been a Noise attack.
Anyhow, the past was he past, and you were going to Lydian now! A school for the musically inclined, it managed to be both prestigious and affordable, and it even had Kazanari Tsubasa, the youngest member of Drei Wing, as a student. And right now, you needed to get out of bed and to school!
==*==
After a rather quick preparation session, aided by the materials you'd laid out the previous night, you'd managed to get ready and board the train for Lydian in record time. Granted, it was your first and perhaps only time doing that, but it still counted. A relatively short train ride later, a bit of paperwork, and you were there, finally. You stood in front of the door to your homeroom, waiting to be let in.
You waited.
You waited some more. The funny thing was that the walls of Lydian most likely had some form of soundproofing, so you really had no way of knowing what in the world was going on.
Just when you were nearly out of your mind with boredom, the door opened, to reveal a tall, austere-looking teacher with short, blond hair, who was saying something.
"-to introduce a new classmate to you! Please, go ahead." She addresses you with that last comment.
What is your name?
For the setting, for now, assume the reality presented at the beginning of Symphogear, with alien monsters that mutually disintegrate with humans on touch known as Noise having recently been officially acknowledged by the UN. Other than those, the public remains unaware of any potential supernatural threats or allies lurking just beyond the veil of fantasy and reality. Also, it seems that Kanade is alive and Zwei Wing has gotten a third member. Wonder why.
This one actually has a bit of reasoning behind it:
Setsuko - name meaning "melody." This fits the Symphogear side's naming scheme with a few - though not all - names with musical meaning.
Minami - A surname that's also a given name. Seeing as there's a Madoka side, the "surnames that can also be read as given names" (e.g. Kyouko Sakura, Michiru Kazusa, and yes, even Ashley Taylor) felt appropriate.
As for a Nanoha-esque attribute to the names... I don't know if there even are noticeable patterns among those names.

EDIT: Apparently there are a lot of cars with musically-themed names, actually. Just googling "cars with musical names" turned up a few articles full of examples, such as this and this.

My suggestion was the first name of the first female Kamen Rider (Miho Kirishima from Ryuki) and the surname of the first Kamen Rider (Takeshi Hongo).
Partially because of Kamen Rider's influence on the magical girl genre as a whole, but mostly because I'm a huge nerd.
"Hello. My name is Hongo Miho." You introduce yourself, bowing. "Please take care of me."
You look at the classroom and notice the frankly absurd slope the desks are built on. Your eye passes over most of your new classmates, taking little notice of them, their presences overshadowed by three individuals: a kind-looking blonde with burgundy eyes and long hair that reaches past the bottom of her desk, a somewhat tomboyish girl with blue eyes and shoulder-length blue hair, bound into a ponytail with a pink ribbon, and a bored girl with short black hair, with a large white ribbon in it. For some reason, you notice that the third one has a silvery ring on her finger, but can't figure out why you notice that specifically. For that matter, you have no idea what about those three people makes you notice them in particular.
...Your best inference is that they seem to have... a presence of some sort, like they have a weight to their existence that most people lack. Actually, now that you think about it, that is true about most people in the room, but it's much stronger for those three, like light bulbs compared to floodlights...
Or maybe it's just the fact that they all have empty seats next to them. Heck, the black-haired one has an empty seat on either side of her, but you get the impression that one's not always empty, with how she's staring at the seat to her right.
"Thank you, Hongo-san." The teacher says. "Take any empty seat... even the one to Kohinata-san's right. Tachibana can take the other one... if she gets to class, of course."
Where do you sit?
[ ] Next to the blonde. She looks like a good person, and you imagine she could help you get eased into school life at Lydian.
[ ] Next to the blue-haired girl. She looks rather dashing, and like she could be fun to be friends with.
[ ] On Kohinata's left. You're curious about this Tachibana, but aren't mean enough to take somebody's seat.
[ ] On Kohinata's right. On the other hand, you wonder what would happen if you did...
Seeing as there's a Madoka side, the "surnames that can also be read as given names" (e.g. Kyouko Sakura, Michiru Kazusa, and yes, even Ashley Taylor) felt appropriate.
Thus, first person to make a name that contains both a car reference and a last name that is also a relatively normal first name gets my vote. Especially if there's also some kind of music reference in there.
Indeed. Nothing to do with Linker Core strength, not at all.
Also, disclaimer: Characters shown will not necessarily posses the same magic that one would expect them to, if one were to go by their series. Note the attention called to Kohinata Miku's ring.
I like to think that's the priority in the three principles of Kamen Rider:
UPHOLD JUSTICE!
PROTECT THE WEAK!
DEFEAT EVIL!
In an event where all three principles conflict, the priority must be given to protecting the weak. More than a few Kamen Rider's have had to learn protecc > atacc as part of their character arcs; it definitely feels, 3 eps in, that this is something for Ultraman Taiga to learn.

"You'd protect people because they're weak? How arrogant... Protectors do not protect people because they're weak, but because their courage and endless strength are worthy of protecting."
