….Maybe saying all that at once was a mistake.
You think you all accidentally fried her brain back there judging by how she's laying on the ground, eyes staring up at the ceiling without moving.
And you can't feel any breathing.
That's probably a bad sign
Hmm, maybe you should say something.
[X] "Hey, Who are you? What's Going on?"
That seems to work. You….guess the best way to put it is
feel….her breath catch as she pushes herself up. She brings her right hand up to her head, your guard's metal touching her skin as she does. She shakes her head back and forth before speaking, "Whatever that was, don't do it again. Nine Heavens, my head felt like it was going to burst."
"As for what's going on, not much.," she places a hand on the ground, getting ready to push herself up. She grunts at the wound in her side, "Just me, being trapped in a room, about to be overrun with Goblins. You know, as you do."
Oh, so standard fantasy stuff then. Well, you do suppose no one would've picked you up when things were peaceful.
Now is hardly the time to panic. Questions can be answered later, look alive soldier Hostiles Inbound.
She starts to stand, dust falling off of her shoulders as it does, "Yeah, yeah, I know. It's why I ran in here anyway. In fact the only reason I'm not freaking out over why I can hear your voices in my head is because I don't want to die."
Then it's a good thing you are currently inhabiting two blades that have not yet taste the blood of their enemies yet. This will be great practice!
Though it does bring up the question of how the heck you got here. After all, why would anyone make a weapon like this? Let alone two swords! That can do….something. You're pretty sure you can….transform? By snapping your ends together?
Huh, might be something to talk to this girl about.
Really? Already? Hehehe oh... This is going to be good, it's been a long time since we have drawn blood... Unless it's skeletons ...ugh I hate skeletons, it's like diet soda with them, you get the chop but none of the taste of blood... it's just wrong... And don't get me started on zombies
"Zombies? Skeletons? What—," she looks around the room frantically. Her gaze falls on the one place where sunlight is, your original position, and heads towards it. She steps up onto the platform, "Nevermind. Questions later, staying alive now."
Hmm, she seems to be pretty on edge.
Let's fix that.
She slightly jumps at the sound. She spins in place looking for the originator, before her eyes narrow. She gazes down at you with a slight smile, "Ha, ha, very funny," her face becomes serious as she turns to stare at the only entrance to this place. She gets into a stance and readies herself, both of your blades held at her sides in a fighting stance. "Wouldn't try that on these things though, Goblins aren't known for their sense of humor."
Dang, and you were hoping this could be solved after everyone had a good laugh. That always seems to solve problems. Everyone should learn to laugh more.
Oh well, can't win everything can you?
[X] "Well this is odd" "Quite, she must be curious." "She can be curious later, fighting now!" "Right Right" "Get Ready Girl, its time to stand up and fight!"
She shakes her head, seeming a bit more used to having your voices speak to her. She tightens her hold on your grips as she sets her face in readiness, "Right. Hope you two are as sharp as you look."
Hmph. She dares doubt you? Guess you'll have to show her exactly how good you are at this sort of thing.
Despite not being used a battle for….you don't how many years!
….You're definitely going to start asking a lot of questions after this fight.
It takes a few more minutes before the moans coming from outside reach a crescendo. You see a black, sludge covered hand reach the threshold of the door. It hits the rock and immediately it becomes saturated in the muck, more it falling to hit the ground.
You….have to admit you're a bit surprised.
When she said "Goblins" you were thinking small green creatures with sticks.
Instead, you have man sized, walking, purple sludge monsters.
There are four of them in total, all shambling forward with a rasping moan that sounds like they're constantly drowning. Their entire bodies are nothing but purple goo that drips to the ground wherever they go. They move forward with single minded purpose, hands reach out in front of them for your new Wielder.
...Yeah, you don't wanna touch those things.
They'll mess up your perfectly, pristine blades!
Your Wielder, as if sensing your mock unease, smiles, "Don't worry, steel still works on them. But if you want them to stay down for good, aim for their chest. It's their only weak point."
With that advice, your Wielder gets ready to fight.
As she does, you can't help but feel...something.
It starts as just a small, pulse of energy within your core. But as the enemies draw closer, it turns into the equivalent of a heart beat. It hammers away inside of your head.
You feel like....you can do something with this energy.....but what?

Alright, got it in. Sorry about the wait. I was having some trouble figuring out what to do with this.
But anyway, here we go. Hope this doesn't turn out to be a mistake, and that I didn't turn anyone off with the time waiting.
