*Tilts head in a state of confusion.*
So...the changes are less negative, and more shift in the cost of things? If that is the case...well I will be honest I was under the impression that bigger issues would crop up during that age. Not sure if ti still is...
Now I am not sure if I voted properly in the poll...dang, should have waited to find out more.
remember the antagonist they spoke of, second age may be when he/she/it may start to do things/mess around, and third age might be when they fully pop up in our world, but this is just a guess and based on the first antagonist appearing in the other games.

My lack of knowledge on the prior incarnations of this game is probably what is leaving me wanting for clarity on what I should be worried over.
Just how significant a threat was the previous set of foes?

well, the first one was a massive god of chaos, corruption and destruction that commanded an almost infinite amount of demons, it took 5 or more gods, their powerful creations, the dragons and the armies of almost all of the races to fight off the demon scourge and seal the demon god away, in the end the world was destroyed, his demons were wiped out and he was shattered into hundreds of "living" pieces of himself.

In number two we found that his pieces were starting to come back, a shard of himself made from 4 or 10 pieces was more powerful than a single elder god, my creations the arachny (who dark ness adopted) were corrupted to making their venom infect all who are bitten to become infected with the blight, and the blight was highly infectious from the blighted as well, in one-two turns the first blight had an army of 30'000'000 (I think the blighted were more powerful than the abyssal that we have now) and started to attack, but that is when we found out how op my chosen where and after loosing almost all of my troops and my great beast the 5 of them went to full power and whipped out the first blight killing 30'000'000 blighted, the high number of my blighted troops and my blighted great beast, that is about where we got up to before it sort of fell apart.

So the possibility of an obscenely wild ride is up ahead then?
I'm game for it.

It appears the majority have thus far voted. Has anyone not yet voted?

Ok, Actions Closed, let me know if I'm missing anything.
  • @Iscaren made Muna Granda
  • @Simpli is commanding her Order to found a city and advancing the Almara with Water Based Illsuionary Magic.
I think that is everything?

.....Question: how does one remove a poll?
It is funny, but having only seen so many of them, the answer is lost to me. You might be able to consult someone in the tech threads. They may be one about the polls in there that has been around for a while that could help.

Though does the poll that you already have in place not have any other options available to you at the time?

1st Age: Turn Four
First Age: Turn Four
1,501-2,000

Many years pass and for the Goranta it is a time of great advancement as their God StStorvak has granted them a the Walking Citadel, Muna Grend. The High Chieftain gained immortality from this immense creation and found his children had longer lifespans, he called this proof of his reign being supported by Storvak and ordered that a large temple to the Dark God be erected and a sacrifice of a hundred cows be made to Storvak. Using the knowledge held by Muna Grend, the Goranta discovered a new set of Runes, Elemental Runes. Along with this they discovered how to forge bronze weapons, armor, and Golems. Though the secrets of Golem creation was kept by the Chieftain' s family.

The Almara also had some advancements, the discovery of Fire Magic by a group of their Shamans gave them new abilities they hadn't thought possible, this plus the Divine gift of Illusionary Water Magic helped found the first true city of the Almara, Sessile. They also made a amazing new discovery, Mysticite, a type of gem filled with huge amounts of Magic, who knows what possibilities await with such a thing.

The followers of Anu'tarka bring the adventuring group of Almara back to their settlement, only to find it now a city build around the Temple of The High God Storvak, with an colossal statue build in the Chaos God's image. The streets were patrolled by Bronze Golems wielding warhammers. The adventurers were amazed with how advanced the Goranta were, but awe turned into curiosity and they began exploring the city with Haos'kel acting as a translator and ensuring they didn't get in trouble.

Leviathain used his control over the seas and those whom dwelt in them to create a castle made of coral, but felt lonely as he could not find a mate. In the northern lands of the mainland, an intense blizzard raged for the pass five hundred years, and showed no signs of stopping and within this unnatural blizzard, a great evil hungers for more flesh.

The Divine once more felt a Surge of Power. +10points to all players.

So It Was, So It Is, So Shall It Forever Be......

It would appear that our wendigo friend has gone to the north. You stay out of the cupboards you fiend!

I have added a "Cities" section at the "Abilities, Combat Rules and Other Stuff" Threadmark
Two new cities forged in the first age. The centers of power in the mortal world, thus far. One is on an isle in the north, and another in the south it seems.
Hmmm...so what particular land is found in the east and west, actually? Neither seems to be currently in use, but what exactly is going on in those areas?

The blessed isle of Undine is located In the center of the map, in the little gulf area.
As for your other question, all the land on the map is all the land there is.

Oh wait your right, silly me. I keep thinking they are much further north for some reason...
But what I meant wasn't about the fact that it was land. I should have phrased it better, but what I meant to ask was what sort of terrain are they? The kind of climates already there, and the sort shape of the world in those regions. Hot, cold, cliffs, forests, wildlife, all that.

Well the northern lands are tundra like, until the Bilzzard. Now they're more frozen over and the soil was tons of permafrost in it. The eastern side of the main land, especially the South East, is warmer. The South Eastern parts of the mainland are actually deserts. The Isle of The Forsaken is currently covered in Volcanos or looks like freaking Mordor. The rest is mostly plains and forests with some swamps.

Errr... the big island in the middle of the World? thats the Almara Island.

@ShieldCrown Valden will check his notebook and I forgot to repost my actions.
10 DP -4 DP (influencing both races) -6 DP (making an order) = 0 DP

Order Name: Friends of Valden
Everyone has plans and everyone needs to get theirs done. This is where Valden and his Friends come they will see any plan to completion or to ruin. Only the core of the order knows how big it is and everyone else knows that they have a little job to do. When they aren't on a job they will mess with people's plan when they say things like "What could possibly go wrong".

So these people are going to be my tools on the world and to allow me to mess with the mortals.
