Lord of Might and Magic: A Might and Magic/CK2 Quest

Welcome to a world constantly at the edge of destruction. Ruthless villains and opportunists ravage the lands, demonic forces wait for their chance to destroy the world, ancient secrets wait to be used for good or ill and even those that some would perceive as 'heroic' follow their own ambitions no matter if they are good or evil. You are one of them, or rather you are going to be one of them... perhaps. A Lord of the Lands, a Master of Might and Magic. Savior of the lands, or its ultimate bane. At least if you survive, since there are others who have been trying to be either for... a lot longer than you.

Not to mention that there are countless ways for the world to quite abruptly end.

Choose your faction:

[] Castle:
You are one of the nobles of the Kingdom of Erathia. A old kingdom mostly populated by humans and ruled by King Nicolas Gryphonheart. He has recently put you in charge of commanding a new Castle and its surroundings in the eastern parts of the Kingdom. For some reason your fellow nobles allready pity you.

(The large, mainly human kingdom. Shining knights, priests, angels and shiny thing all around.)

[] Rampart:
You are a noble of Avlee and Tularea, the realms of the Elves, and have recently been appointed to manage a Rampart in the southern area of the Tularean Forest to be able to send troops against Deyja, Eeofol or Erathia as needed. And needed it will be.

(Realm of the Elves, Dwarves, Fae, Centaurs and forest creatures.)

[] Tower:
You are a spellcaster of Bracada, the nation of Mages and various magical creatures, and you have recently gotten around to building your own Tower... or at least what can be called a Tower currently. Unfortunately it stands near the borders to Krewlod and there are also rumors that Gavin Magnus himself might have a few tasks for you in the future.

(Realm populated by Wizards, Genies, Gremlins and various magical constructs.)

[] Fortress:
You are one of the leaders of the Lizards, Gnolls and swampcreatures of Tatalia, warily keeping an eye on Krewlod to the south and Erathia to the east from the safety of your Fortress. The questions is now... can you find some way to profit from any future conflicts before the Barbarians do while keeping trouble out of your swamp?

(Realm situated in Swamps and Marshes, mainly populated by Lizardmen, Gnolls and various swamp-creatures.)

[] Stronghold:
You are a Barbarian from Krewlod, leading a Stronghold at the borders to those accurrsed swamps of Tatalia. Fortunately the chance has come to gain fortune and glory as everyone can sense that havoc is about to errupt in the near future.

(Human barbarians, Goblins, Orcs, Trolls, Ogres and similiar.)

[] Dungeon:
You are the Overlord of one of the Dungeons of Nighon, up and about to plunder Erathia soon. Unfortunately are you not only very low in the pecking order, but there also has been rumors that some of your fellow Overlords are considering to cooperate with the Kreegan. This can't end well at all...

(Underground realm mostly populated by such creatures as Troglodytes, Minotaurs, Harpies and even worse creatures.)

[] Cove:
Regna Island and its nearby islands have gotten slightly crowded due to how many of your fellow pirates are trying to plunder the ships sailing between Enroth, Antagiach and Jadame these days if they don't just simply attack various coast-cities. Regardless, you have managed to claim a small island not far away from Antagiachs eastern coasts, ready to exploit the local unrest to plunder everything you can get away with. Well, 'secured' might be a bit of an exageration...

(Mainly human or ocasionaly elvish pirates allied to Sorceres and various creatures of the sea. Also has gunpowder.)

[] Necropolis:
You are a Necromancer of Deyja, the Kingdom of Necromancers, which definitely is not going to be at fault for Nicolas Gryphonhearts death which will enable a multitude of invasions... not at all, and have been ordered to set up a Necropolis to the south of Deyja to keep an eye on Erathia and Avlee while the Order is attempting to enact a 'cunning' plan. It likely involves Necromancy.

(Necromancers, vampires and various undead.)

[] Inferno:
You are a servant of the Kreegans, ready to spread havoc upon the world for your 'demonic' masters as soon as Erathia descends into chaos once your allies have made their move. Yes, it is as simple as that. Or so it seems.

(Demons, Efreets and the ocasional Cultist.)

[-] Forge:
The Heavenly Forge is inactive. For now.

(Mechanical monstrosities, heavily armed goblins, undead cyborgs, high-tech and worse.)

[-] Conflux:
The Elemental Conflux is inactive.

(Elementals and fairies.)

This and rampart were my favorite factions, never saw cove or heavenly forge

Cove is from the VERY, VEEEERRRYYYY well made Fanmade expansion Horn of the Abyss.

Forge was originaly supposed to be the villains of Armageddons Blade and originate from the Evil ending of Might and Magic 7. The developers got DEATHTHREATS from Heroes of Might and Magic fans who never played the Might and Magic games, so the faction was dropped and the entire campaign scrapped and remade.

I decided that mermaids are underrepresented in SV and 'sea creatures' may or may not include those. Also, pirates! Islands! PIRATES!

Damnit @Teron , I have things to do in my life! I don't have time to get out my old Might&Magic cds.

Well, excuse me! The first attempt at this is the only quest I actually put any ammounts of sufficient effort and consideration into (aside from the Star Wars one) before I was overwhelmed. So, I'm trying again and hopefully won't abandon it after a a turn or two.

Also, I'm going to dig out any single scrap of lore I can find! Heroes of Might and Magic 2&3 including expansions AND Might and Magic from the first one all the way to VIII.

Surprised that so many allready vote the (in my oppinion) most boring faction. I never liked Castle. :D

Guys, come on, Cove is clearly the best option here.

It's got a bit of humans a bit of elves and bit of magic, and a whole lot of beautiful island paradise. And booty. Can't be a pirate without the booty.
