In the Empire of Rokugan there are three sacred stones: Jade, Crystal and Obsidian. These condemn everything and they condone everything. For they are weapons in the hands of mankind.
The Moshi, priestesses of the Sun call for saviors. Someone cursed by the moon has found the blood of the moon. Will you answer?
Alright, lets talk character creation. Two choices at the moment. I'll count them seperately so vote. First of all are you a boy or a girl? Secondly pick a faction origin. I'll count them seperately so a vote for a boy Bee and a girl bee will count as two Bee votes and two seperate sex votes. The faction choices are:
Badger - A minor clan in the great wall of the north that are tasked with defending against outside invasion of the Empire.
Bat - A minor clan on the southern most of the islets surounding islands of Spice and Silk. They are messengers.
Bee - A minor clan in the north of the territories of the Crane. Be wary, viscious tongues sting here.
Boar - A minor clan twilight mountains at the far south. Isolationist and besieged.
Brotherhood of Shintao - Monks and nuns who seek enlightenment.
Centipede - A minor clan in the south. Led by a family of Sun priestesses known as the Moshi.
Crab - A great clan to the south tasked with defence against the realm of evil.
Crane - A great clan streching along the eastern coast that proves the existance of beauty and art to the world.
Chrysanthemum - The Imperial throne and its attendants.
Dragon - A great clan in the center of the mountains of the north tasked with watching, fortelling and ultimately striking.
Dragonfly - A minor clan. Gatekeepers to the Dragon.
Falcon - A minor clan in the south. Exorcists.
Firefly - A minor clan guarding the coast north of the capitol. The're known for their wardens and magistrates.
Fox - A minor clan to the south. Guardians of an ancient spiritual forest.
Hare - A minor clan to the south. Famously hunt those who weild blood magic against the Empire.
Lion - A great clan to the north. The army of the Empire.
Mantis - A great clan in the eastern sea. The navy of the Empire.
Monkey - A minor clan surrounded by the Scorpion. Strong proponents of the Fortune of Virtue.
Oriole - A minor clan of weaponsmiths. Their lands are piecemeal across the Empire
Ox - A minor clan trapped between the Dragon and the Phoenix. When needed they defend the boarder. Otherwise they infiltrate criminals.
Phoenix - A great clan. Northern most of the coastal clans. These guys are the spiritual heart of the Empire.
Raven - A minor clan in the mountains known as the Spine of the World. Champions of the Brotherhood of Shintao.
Ronin - Everyone unwelcome in another organisation. They are everywhere but there are some key hotspots scattered about.
Salamander - A minor clan who exist as spiritual researchers. They live in nomadic riverboats.
Scorpion - A great clan to the south. They control the criminal underworld.
Shark - A minor clan on the eastern coast. Viscious but backed by the Emperor most think they shouldn't exist at all.
Snake - A minor clan in the plains between the Dragon and Phoenix. Founded to hunt blood magic.
Sparrow - A minor clan between Crab and Crane. They make sure no one steals from ground set aside as an offering to the Sun.
Tanuki - A minor clan in the biggest forest in the Empire. They research the mysteries of the forest.
Tiger - A minor clan that lives in the capitol itself. They defend the city and have often been its governors.
Tortoise - A minor clan that guards the coast south of the capitol. Secret smugglers but they have an ever expanding list of officlal duties.
Unicorn - A great that exists to scout the desert to the west. They have the finest cavalry in the Empire.
