[X]The character was not birthed in the normal sense. One moment he was nonexistent, and the next, the character was sleeping on the ground.
[X]It seems that some prophet thought it would be a good idea to kidnap a large number of your kind's children. And then raise them to be the perfect soldiers. This will surely end well.
[X]The character was not birthed in the normal sense. One moment he was nonexistent, and the next, the character was sleeping on the ground.
[X]For some strange reason he's now on a completely abandoned planet
Remember if the character just appears, he is not grown up. He's still a newborn. So if it wins, then I'll have another set of options about how he is raised afterwords, and what raises him.
we where raised in the middle of a war zone... that actually would be kind of cool because then you would have a child who would have to have learned tonsteal from military forces on both sides and practice his hiding skill. that would be quite interesting.

Well as far as I know there isn't a prolonged war in the covenant around that time. So it wouldn't last for the character's lifetime. Heck or even the end of the battle, as the character is a helpless baby. He'd die if left alone.

The air still as silence gently pervaded the space between two massive armies. Bodies of both races were strewn across this No-Man's land, hundred's of freshly rotting corpses along with the long burnt out wreckage of many a vehicle.
With barely a sound, warriors of both sides lined up on the stained, blackened ground. The two martial species silently glared at each other from across the war torn field, daring the other to make the first move.
Then the blue sun, rose over the horizon, reigniting the tend day battle.
With a howl the Fieldmaster, ignited his red-tinted blade, and raised it high signaling the charge. Ten, hundred Sangheili raised their own weapons into the air, and roared with their leader. The massed battle cry cut through the air only to be met by a counter fro the enemy.
A thousand Jiralhanae emptied their lungs into the air, as the Alpha Pack leader leaped forward his hammer held high. Behind him, over nine hundred others of his species quickly followed in his actions, catapulting them up, and towards the split jawed race.
Above them, giant orbs of blue light arch through the air, burnt ozone trailing behind them. Then dozens of shapes tear through the upper clouds, banshees intent on bombarding their enemies.
Green, blue, and red superheated fly though the air, along with masses of brutal crystalline spikes.
Two leaders meet in the middle of the field. The Fieldmaster lunges forward, his jaws curled up in a snarl, even as the grinning chieftain swings his hammer in a counter.
Death swings across the field, dozens of unlucky warriors completely vaporized by artillery. Hundreds more fall shortly after the first orbs fall. Sangheili clutch spikes impaled in their bodies, their shielding overwhelmed by combined fire. Brutes scream in pain, and rage, as limb sized, craters appear on their smoking, boiling bodies. Soldiers on both sides have their lived ended, as blades, both metal, and plasma slice them to pieces.
The Fieldmaster is thrown away, a crater where his chest should be be. Below him, the chieftain falls back, his fur singed, and head cloven in two.
Then a white light flashes, and the two mortal enemies find themselves back, standing right before the moment of impact. Their confusion only grows as a strange sound starts to reverberate through the air.
Lives previously snuffed out, roar back to life, as time itself reverses. Even those slain in previous battles rise up, mortal wounds vanishing as if they had never existed.
Plasma winks out, and superheated crystal falls to the ground, all momentum lost.
However this phenomenon is not what draws the attention of the formerly fighting armies.
The two warrior leaders drop to their knees in unison as an enormous orb of pure light hovers over the battle field. The three thousand other souls quickly follow, prostrating themselves below the High Charity sized god.
Warmth flows into the bodies of the covenant, but instead of vaporizing the waiting warriors, it instead fills them with energy. Washing away battle fatigue, like the flash did with wounds. Scars from long past heal, and defects are washed away under the holy light.
Slowly, the two opposing generals slowly look up from their prostrated state, and gape in wonder at the celestial body.
But to the surprise of everyone watching, the mass of light begins to shrink. Seconds go past, and the planetoid of light begins loses dozens of kilometers off of it's shape. The compression speeds up, and the other members of the armies join in with gasps, as the light changes form.
Then in front of three thousand, witnesses, the tint ball of light morphs into a small humanoid form.
Eyes go wide as a newborn Jiralhanae floats in the air, sleeping, and completely oblivious.
Then it begins to slowly float downwards towards the armies below. Instantly, a spot is cleared as mortal enemies shuffle to make room, their previous slights forgotten in the face of this miracle.
[X]The prophets claimed The Child Of Miracle. He was a sign from the gods, that unity was key.
[X]The brutes quickly Grabbed The Child Of Miracle. It was clear that he was going to be the one who unites the packs, and brings the Jiralhanae to their rightful place in the covenant.
[X]The Sangheili quickly apprehended the Child Of Miracle. Not only would he serve as a weapon against the enemies of the covenant, but he would be useful for keeping the brutes in line.
How was that? Suitably epic? Or Meh?

[X]Raised by Prophets:
Pros:
You get the very best equipment, training, nutrition, gene therapy, and education available. And are raised to be The military leader of the covenant.
Cons:
The prophets consider you their investment, and will try to put as many strings on you as possible. That and heaviest indoctrination
[X]Raised by Pack:
Pros: Very physical with the most CQC training. But there is little indoctrination.
Cons: Very little formal education, and very little actual training compared to the other options.
[X]Sangheili:
Pros:Most overall Combat training. A lot of education. Raised with honor A shiny new Combat harness at the end.
Cons: Some indoctrination. Less respect from the packs.
[X]The Sangheili quickly apprehended the Child Of Miracle. Not only would he serve as a weapon against the enemies of the covenant, but he would be useful for keeping the brutes in line.
Thanks, and:
It's just a group of Jiralhanae raised for combat, and equipped with Some advanced Combat Harnesses.
They would work in tandem with the Shield of the covenant (Sangheili) You can probably guess who they eyes would be.
As for grunts? They don't get a spot in that kind of special forces.

-8th Age Of Doubt's End
-9th Age Of Miracles Start
The colonization dispute ended on the same day that the pacification fleet arrived. But they were not the ones who ended the conflict. When the Carrier, and it's escorts arrived, the battle group were not the ones whom ended the hostilities.
Just minutes after the miniscule fleet arrived in the system, a miniature sun appeared over the area of the largest battlefield. Every display on the various ships were lit up with a real time screening of the event, something none of them were able to trace later on.
Even as the blue ball of light appeared, a strange music had started echoing through every ship of the fleet. Like the video, it was likewise, completely untraceable. However, the fleet and planet were the only groups to see the divine action.
Ships from all across the Covenant likewise had their sensors hijacked, even high Charity the very center of The Covenant was not left unaffected.
Whatever had caused the event had clearly wanted every species in the galaxy to know about it.
Unfortunately this hijacking also caused the loss of eight light cruisers, three destroyers, four frigates, a carrier, and a number of freighters. The ships were lost with all hands into slipspace.
The Minister of Penance rose from his seat on the bridge; his hunched neck straightening up to fully accentuate his impressive height. Unlike most of his race, this San ' Shyuum preferred to move around under his own power, albeit assisted by a combat harness. The ashen, armored prophet continued moving, practically gliding over to the leader of his flagship.
The Sangheili in question quickly bowed his head in respect as the honored one approached.
"Ah Shipsmaster, I trust we have arrived at out destination"
"Yes holy one. Soon we shall punish the Jiralhanae savages for daring to impede on the planet gifted to us by the Hierarchs themselves!"
The bridge rises to a clamor as the other officers join in with loud agreements of their own.
"They are savages aren't they?" Replies the minister in agreement. "I can't help but think of how much potential is wasted on them." The prophet turns, his feet lightly scraping the purple meta of the floor. The male rests his eyes on one of the screens showing their target planet. "Tell me Shipmaster, do you know what happens to the children of those my department dispose of?"
"What do you mean high one?"Asked the slightly confused Sangheili. "Aren't they sent away to another pack?"
"Remember Shipmaster that the Jiralhanae are not the only race to have committed follies" The prophet pauses. "But you were right; until recently we sent the spawn of traitors, heretics, and the rebellious away, hoping that the faithful could remove any taint" An edge slowly slides itself into the ministers voice, as he puts his hands behind his back. "But recent events have shown us that a harsher penance is necessary"
The small eyes of the Shipmaster widen. "Then is our task now one of extermination?"
"No, Shipmaster, it is not." Replies the situationally taller alien."While The Great Journey may require sacrifices, such wastefulness would be counter intuitive to our goals. No. The Covenant needs a sword" The minister turns again looking at the Captain of the carrier. "And it also needs a shield."
The Shipmaster rises from his chair to stand eye to eye with the minister. "Minister, may I ask why are telling me this?"
In response the one eyed Prophet smiles. "Why Shipmaster, you're record should speak for itself. Tell me, how would you like to be a member of The Shield Program?"
Before the Sangheili can answer, the calm air is ripped apart as music starts to echo in the air.
"Shipmaster! What is th-" The minister fall to his knees in the middle of the sentence, his knees loudly clanking against the floor. A blue sun had appeared over the target planet, and it was healing a battlefield. "By the Gods!"The Prophet watched at the display in awe "It's a miracle; a sign from the heavens!"
"Snap out of it!" Roared the Shipmaster. "Something took over our systems, get the ship back under control before we crash into something!"
"Shipmaster, the controls aren't responding!"
"And the sounds aren't coming from the speakers!"
"Quiet You Fools!" Roared the Minister. "Show some reverence to the miracle we are witnessing!"
Grudgingly the golden armored elite quieted down, still worried by the thought of his ship accidentally crushing one of it's escorts.
The many screens of the bridge slowly showed the miracle taking place. Dead soldiers suddenly popping back up from resting place on the ground. And then to the surprise of every being in the galaxy, the miniature healing sun began to shrink.
Gasps filled the room as it turned into a slightly glowing newborn figure before slightly drifting to the ground.
And then everything stopped, the screens returned to normal, and the music ended.
Silence filled the fleet.
"Helmsman, We need to get there with all haste, The Great Journey Depends on it!" The prophet turns to the Shipmaster, a slightly panicked look on his face."Prep as ship, we need to claim this miracle to the faith."
The minister turns to the communications officer "Instruct all the belligerents on the planet below that we have been charged to take the miracle in hand for the glory of the gods."The minister's voice darkens. "And that if a single hair on the child's is harmed, then there is nowhere the offender can run that will be far enough to escape the covenant's wrath"
