You wait for Mami to wake up from her slumber. The poor girls suffered enough recently, she at least deserves a good nights rest.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Hmm who could be at Mami's door this early?
You walk over to the entranced to Mami's apartment and open her door.
……..and immediately see that rotten redhead.
She looks almost as unpleasantly surprised as you do. Well at least that's what you get from her widened eyes, and the fact she whispered what you assume to be a human curse word under her breath.
It takes her a moment for her to collect herself and meet your glare, which you had been maintaining since you had first caught sight of her. "Look pinky. I'm not here to start a fight with you. I just want to talk to Mami about a few things. Just let me do that, and I won't cause you any problems."
Lets see on one hand you don't want to start a fight in Mami's house, but on the other you really don't like her.
What do you do?
[x] Let her in, but keep an eye on her (paranoia)

You decide to open the door for the red one, but make sure to keep an eye one her. You don't trust anybody that would let even a week monster run around unchecked. Even a weak monster like these 'familiars' could easily kill a weak species like a human or waddle dee, and it's the duty of those with strength to look out for them.
She walks in cautiously as if expecting a trap, before looking around. "Soooo is Mami awake yet or did I arrive a bit too early."
You irritably point to Mami's door where she can be heard snoring, before pointing to the couch and ask politely for the redhead to "sit down" You don't ever threaten her with physical harm, that's plenty polite for people you don't like right?
Leave it to Mami to join up with the aggressive wad of gum
For once in the short time you've known her the redhead gets the hint and goes to sit down, a little resentful in appearance, but clearly aware she isn't going to come out on top if a fight starts. You also make sure to call Rosana over, just in case miss redhead try's something.
And she teamed up with the green haired bitch too……………..typical.
From the looks Rosana and the Redhead exchange when she enters, the two apparently know each other, and don't really get along. You even hear them whispering some 'unpleasant' words to one another under their breath.
A few hours of awkward silence latter and Mami finally wakes up.
Needless to say the look on her face when she sees the redhead is a cold one if you've ever seen such a look cross Mami's face. "Hello Kyoko I assume you're not hear for a nice visit? We didn't part on good terms last time we talked."
Damn it Mami! I've been replace haven't………..and I can't even fault you for it
The newly named 'Kyoko' seems to shrink a little under Mami's gaze, well ether Mami's gaze. Well ether Mami's gaze or the threatening looks she's getting from the rooms other occupants "…….. I need help, something's been rampaging around my territory and I can't handle it by myself."
Mami nods "Yes strange things have been happening recently, I'm afraid I've had deal with more than I could handle on my own too."
Right, but you have friends to help you out. I can't believe I wound up in the weaker position in the end, just like when we first met.
Kyoko shrugs trying her best to regain her initial aloof attitude "Well ok then, how about this, I help you with whatever going on over in this city, and you help me get that thing out of my turf?"
You, Mami, and Rosana ask her to wait a moment while you talk this out. It isn't a long conversation; the three of you quickly come to the conclusion that could use her help to take on dark matter forces. Neither you nor Rosana are happy about it, but you both recognize the need for it, and Mami seems to have a history with this Kyoko character. When you tell Kyoko that you accept she gives a light nod before leaving, you suppose she really isn't a morning person anyway.
Now all you need to do is decide how you want to go about looking for the Knight you saw earlier.
How do you do it?
[x] All at once, search the city as a group to maintain safety of numbers
[x] Split up, split into groups to cover more area in less time.
[x] Stake out, you found the knight at the park, hid out nearby and see if it comes back

The three of you end up departing together in an attempt to locate the knight. You stick together to keep Dark Matter from picking the three of you off one by one.
Naturally you check the park first. It was the first place you saw the knight after all so it would also be the mostly likely place for it to show up again.
As it turns out, your hunch is correct as you once again spot the Skull faced presence of an Axe knight.
You sneak around behind the Axe Knight, telling Mami, and Rosana to keep their current positions while you help corner the axe wielding warrior. It doesn't take much for you to sneak behind the knight, the bushes of the part give you plenty of cover, and your feet are as silent as they come.
The Axe knight is caught by surprise as you disarm it, and pin it, slamming its skeletal face into the ground.
Mission accomplished you gesture for Mami and Rosana to join you, with Mami using her ribbons to tie up the axe knight so it can't run away after you let it go.
How do you question it?

You meet the Axe knight eye to eye socket. "You and I both know what the results are going to be if your lord and I get into a fight, so I think you should take me to him so we can talk this out, without trying to pummel one another into the ground."
The knight's face is impassive, but you can tell it's considering your offer. Meta Knight's soldiers as loyal as the come, but even they have no doubts about who would win a fight between you, not after all the times you've broken his mask.
Eventually however it consents "Fine, but only because my lord can't afford you smashing up his forces at a time like this."
You have Mami untie it in order to let it up. "Follow me closely, we do not wish to catch the attention of Dark Matte while on our journey." The skill knight then ducks under some bushes, before sticking is head of and gesturing for you to follow. Naturally you do so, in turn gesturing for Mami and Rosana to follow.

The trek was a long and boring one that involved going in multiple circles several times, but eventually you end up at the entrance to Meta Knight secret base……..it appears to be a manhole cover, well you suppose that makes sense in a city like this.
He turns to your group "Follow me closely, and do not provoke any unnecessary fights." You get the feeling that he's looking at you when he says that, but you really can't imagine why.
The inside of his secret base is much like that of his battleship, dark and metallic. Mace Knights and Trident Knights can be seen patrolling the hallways, occasionally accompanied by one of their Heavy Knight brothers in arms. As you walk down the hallways you also spot some other interesting things like a store room full of shotzo's and a Heavy Lobster under maintenance. For a mêlée fighter Meta Knight sure likes his guns and machinery, but you never took Meta Knight for someone to reject perfectly safe and powerful weapons just because of personal preference. As you walk Mami looks curiously at all the strange creatures and machines moving around her. You suppose that you're the first weird non-witch related thing she's seen, so Meta Knights troopers are probably a big surprise.
Soon enough you come to a door with Meta Knight's traditional sword in front of an M symbol on it. The Axe Knight opens the door, and your party enters, to see Meta Knight looking over some kind of map.
He turns to regard you his eyes flashing blue for a breif instant. "Ah Kirby its nice to see you in these troubling times, how may I be of help to you?
What do you do?
[x] Ask him how he plans to fight Zero
[x] *Glomp* What? You can't be happy to see you sort of friend again?
[x] "What's going on Meta Knight, why is dark matter even on this strange world.
