This fic used to be "REINCARNATED AS SUPERGIRL" it was renamed when I posted it here, but it's the same fic.


Kara Zor-El lived her entire life as a normal girl, then her planet exploded.

Stranded on a damaged ship and forced into a healing coma from the kryptonite laying beside her she remember living a previous life, one where she was a man and the DC universe was just fiction.

Now she must make her way towards earth, make sense of her two sets of memories and protect her little cousin from the kinds of dangers laying in wait in the universe.

First, the world is mostly Young Justice but the MC won't be part of the team. The YJ universe is focused on the sidekicks of the Justice League, and all heroes seem to be slightly weaker than their main versions.

This is NOT an SI but Kara has lived another life as an OC where DC was only a comic book universe.

Also, I'm told it's a deal breaker for some but Kara starts in a very bad situation and her exposure to kryptonite for so long leaves a mark on her for a while, but it's not the focus of the story.
