Play as the King of Sorrow, an immortal who wanders the many worlds seeking to help those in need and strike down evil wherever he finds it.
Introduction and Setting choice
In this quest you will be taking control of an immortal hero named the King of Sorrow. Unlike most quests, this will not have many mechanics, at least at the start, because I want the focus to be on how your various choices affect the world(s) at large. Note that as the King of Sorrow, your body can technically die, but if that happens you will just appear in another world with all your memories intact. Also, the King of Sorrow has lived many, many years, and so is a master at defending himself in a fight as well as many other disciplines

First, pick a setting. If all goes well, it won't be our only one.

[] The Melancholy Lands: A mysterious realm reserved for good people who have done terrible things, the Melancholy Lands are a place for these lost souls to battle their demons; both figuratively, and literally. Currently, it appears as a mostly abandoned city.

[] World War 1, the Western Front: They said the war would be over by Christmas. What fools. Can the King of Sorrow be a beacon of comfort and righteousness in this hell on earth?

[] The Sultanate of Al Sajazi: A large Sultanate in a world covered mostly by desert with various oases dotted along the landscape. It's a difficult life for most of the people there, but some have managed to gain incredible riches.

[]The World of Dendra: Travel is even more dangerous in this world than in Al Sajazi. All manner of terrifying beasts, man-eating plants, and parasitic spores inhabit the uncivilized areas of this world that is mostly jungle.

[] World War II, the Eastern Front: Trapped between the Nazis on one side and the soviets on the other, you'll need to keep your wits about you if you want to do the most good here.

[] Write-in:

I'm not in the habit of bumping quests, but I really think I might have an idea worth sticking with on this one.

Well the Sultanate of Al-Sajazi wins. Does anyone have any advice for getting more readers on this quest?
The vagueness of actual content might be playing a part. Most original setting usually start with the type of story and setting already somewhat fleshed out. All you've really shown is that the protag is immortal, and even that was more exposition than actual writing.
