...Go and watch Scotts latest video on KSP. He uses Spaceplane Plus parts (soon to be stock) to build a lifting body, as those parts have a (horrible) lift rating.
On the flip side, rocket design has gotten much easier since fairings are now useful, and arguably outright necessary.I've discovered that FAR/NEAR make some of the contract missions a lot more challenging, at least trying to do more than one of them on the same flight...
So, uh... do those crew and science modules have working IVA?
This is important. My OCD is driving me half-mad when it comes to Kerbal Space Program, a good-looking crew module, and a working IVA.
Curses. Thwarted yet again.
And if I bug anyone, I'll just track down the guy who does the FusTek parts and somehow convince him to get off his lazy ass and give those parts proper IVAs. (Note: This is a joke.)
Well, or learn how to do it myself, but who has time for that?
NEAR/FAR make launch easier with needing less delta-v for the launch. Though I have yet to design a rocket capable of launching with just staging.
Or go bug the guy who is doing these to give them proper IVA's, since I gave you a link to the damn thread he made. Stop being lazy and go quest for what you want.
Meh. Procedual Fairings exist for a reason...It do however require you to build whatever you launch to fit in a shroud. Which can be very annoying.
RoverGuy has to be one of the most active mod developer these days.
Kerbonite, Kerbonite Plus, MKS/OKS, Fright Transport Technologies (FTT)...
So, I have a class C that will impact in about 10 days. I need to give it about 30ms to avoid a collision. I'm too low in the tech tree to get the claw in time. My landing-gear pusher just spun it around. Options?
Actually just did my first munar flyby for this save. I just know that the longer I wait the more dv ill need to move it.
Alright, I'll give it a go when I get home.Rushing the claw, will be easy. Rush minmus, land in two biomes and you are done.
