[X] There is a man in white, with his hat looking like it blended into his hair nearby and he's staring at you and your crew. He feels quite familiar...
-
He must have sensed that you had noticed him staring. Your eyes locked. You thought Ryouichi and Hajime was tall? Damn, he was much taller than him, and it showed, too. Well, perhaps they were
close but this guy definitely give off the feeling of intimidation. Not only that, but it seemed that he was confident enough that he approached you and your crew... plus Hajime. You weren't sure what to label him as, in all honesty. The strange familiarity wasn't from the man but it was the fact that it was similar feeling you had around Ryouichi and the others right now.
"Stand users attract each other." The man said, confirming your suspicions. "You're Maki Kunikida, correct?"
"...Um. Yes. Why?" You said. Your nerves were already spiked up. Things were getting interesting now. You thought that the battle against the Byakko delinquents was one thing, but this guy knowing you was another, and it freaked you out.
"I'm Jotaro Kujo. Your grandmother sent me to collect you. We need to talk about a few things. Well, correction. A lot of things. Especially in regards to this outbreak of Stand awakenings." Jotaro introduced himself.
Outbreaks? The first thing that came to mind was Hajime, who was the first to suffer of this. It made no sense at first, but... if that was the case... that meant even
more people had the Stands.
"No way, I refuse." Asuka voiced in. "How do we know we can trust you, man? We just got attacked by those delinquents. We're sticking all together."
"Yeah! The boss isn't a fool. She's pretty intelligent, too." Ryouichi said, gritting his teeth.
"...Not if you all don't let me voice it in." You grumbled, as you folded your arms. "I'm curious to hear what this guy has to say."
"It's risky. We can't trust anyone." Seiko grasped your shoulder. "Besides, we're all injured, too..."
"Can I just go? I'm not even involved in all of this anymore..." Hajime bit his lower lip, seeming to find a way to escape out of this entire transaction.
"It's urgent matters. Do you seriously have time to argue among yourselves and try to come up with solutions? The more you waste time, the more the situation will escalate. Currently the awakenings have only happened in Kobe and Osaka so far. But who knows how far this sudden awakening will spread? You don't know all the details. If you don't come, you'll never find out." Jotaro's steely gaze made you wince.
It was the first time that somebody intimidated you that much by word alone. Not only that, he was right. Who knows how bad the situation really was? In fact, there really wasn't much you knew. It just proved how really in the dark you guys were. And plus, you were curious how your grandmother knew of anything. The last time you remembered, your grandmother was always doing something. Always something else, separate from the family.
Why, of all people, was your grandmother contacting you now?
Following Jotaro's lead, you noted that there was a car waiting for you all, and the driver oddly wore a cap that had Speedwagon labeled on it, with a tiny wheel embroidered on it. There were so many questions, you just had to have them all answered. It seemed from where you were all driving that you were all heading back to Osaka, from the looks of it. Although you didn't know where, to be honest. You would have asked questions, but you didn't bother. You were way too tired, and you just wanted to sleep off the pain.
Within your sleep-ridden hearing, you could hear screams from your friends that the car was burning up. It must have been much later on, because you heard them all chatting casually earlier and some laughs here and there. Your eyes shot open as fast as they could. All around you was surrounded in a sea of flames. Pain shot through your body. Shrapnel dug into your body. Apparently you had been close to the impact of the explosion, but not enough where it could kill you.
Smoke shrouded your vision, too. You coughed painfully, feeling blood and bile rising up your throat. You felt like your leg had been crunched, too. In fact, you weren't sure of the state of your condition, but it certainly wasn't anything good. You weren't sure if anyone else was trapped in with you inside the car. Your stomach churned at the thought.
It hurts...
What do you do now. . .?
[] Try to call out your Stand and break out somehow. You can't let it end here. You won't let it end here.
[] Get hold of yourself and ram the door with the weight of your body. If the door has weakened enough...
[] Is there something nearby that can help you? Quickly search the car and find something to break your window open!
[] Write-in.
