~ Interlude ~
With a flash of light Brother Brun had beamed himself back aboard his cloister's Cathedral Ship, however he barely had time to catch his breath when he felt the piercing gaze of another priest.
"So, you return to us with
nothing. I thought a man like you would be well aware what fate awaits in Hell for those guilty of the sin of Sloth" a cold-as-the-grave voice intoned, which belonged to a man with midnight-black robes, hair and eyes, deathly pale skin and red dots for pupils.
"Yeah well Blanc, man like you oughta know the Lord works in mysterious ways" came Brun's comeback, who then stepped back when Brother Blanc's gaze grew almost Arctic.
"Hey hey, cool it you two" came a third voice, belonging to a third priest with a face almost entirely hidden behind floppy brown hair, oversized sunglasses and cigarette smoke.
"Mm-hm, you heard what the good Brother Bleu said, let's try and focus on the
real sinners here" Brun tried to say before Brother Blanc's gaze and over-looming presence sent both him and Bleu stepping back further.
"Very well. I could now add insubordination to both of your sins now, but indeed let us focus on the more urgent issue" Brother Blanc relaxed his voice, by his standards anyway "For one who dares steal and pervert one of the holiest relics should above all others be...
Damned For All Time!".

With Exty now given an easily-remembered name and something to do, Luna and I start back on that tour of ours. Yep, cafeteria, engine room, storage spaces, bedrooms (of which I immediately call top bunk upon entering), ooh even a games room! Can't spot any Holodeck though, plus there's enough empty spaces and corridors to nowhere that you can tell the original shipbuilder didn't live to complete it. But Lady Speedwagon, heh, smartly saves the best for last, as with a quick teleporter trip we find ourselves on the roof of the ship, the heavens all around us beyond a transparent dome, and a swirling pink planet of clouds, Zadusto I take it, coming up in front of us.
Back in the ship's corridors again we make our way back to my time machine, or rather its smoldering remains I should say. "The embarrassing thing for me to admit is, I'm still not really sure how I got this thing working in the first place, it was mostly through happy accident, trial-and-error kinda deal" my head droops as I tell her.
"I suppose the best option would be for us to find a proper Quake user, see if they can recharge it. Of course, they mostly live on the two outer worlds, both of which are undeniably treacherous... but I guess that's silly for me to say given what sort of situation we're in already" a crouching Luna remarks.
After that we both try lifting the machine's remains back to the bedroom, but by the time we're almost there the entire ship all of a sudden rocks violently. With the lights flashing on and off and Luna and I trying to get back on our feet, a hologram of a small white-and-blue-patterned ship appears in front of us out of nowhere, not looking like something by Gemini. If I just squint I can also make what looks like a miniature tower and a coffee cup with arms and legs behind them.
This hologram then shifts to one of a wasp-shaped robot and a somewhat-inattentive-looking grey-haired human next to it. "Criminal humans, sufficient analysis has proven you guilty of theft. Prepare to be apprehended by Inspector Sting and, assuming he's even able to put in satisfactory effort, Inspector Stewart, of the Police Cruiser Summers" the wasp robot, Sting I take it, barks at us before their holograms blink out.
So much for the rest of this trip going smoothly, we've already got the police on our tail. I turn to Luna to ask how to act... only to find the wrong words entirely coming out of my mouth "Moongirl Fastdragon, what we do about respond about guys after us? This heavy".
Luna, still trying to find time to react to all of this, stares at me and says back "Like weird, what are you try to saying? Wait, I just said, all went wrong. Exclamation" She then clasps her hands over her mouth in shock. Right, so I take it those cops have got some piece of technology, possibly even a Stand, likely that Tower thing since I don't see how a coffee cup could do this, that can scramble people's communication. For the benefit of sadness, er I mean, good grief!
[ ] Let's see if I can board these cops' ship somehow, I have a hunch they'll be way less of a threat up close.
[ ] Let's try heading over to Zadusto's atmosphere, maybe we can lose them somewhere there.
[ ] Let's just head straight to Regina, it should take them some time to search an entire planet.
[ ] Let's face these guys head on, test out what combat capabilities this ship has.
[ ] Write-in.
