[X] A small party in Castle Boralus would be nice
-[X] After a modest time partying at the castle, take to the streets of the capital and start passing out small party favors to all the young children we meet. Things like a simple but tasty sticky/sweet bun for the commoner children, and perhaps a small cake with 'thank you for your service during this hard war' written on it at each noble estate we can reasonably get to within walking distance.
-[X] Magically conjure food for the party, so the kitchens only need to make the stuff you can't conjure.
6.2 Before the Party
"A small party?" Moira deflated slightly. "It's better than no party, I s'pose."
"Yes, indeed. Now, let's see who we have to invite, since they are already living in the castle's other chambers for their own safety," Jaina conjured up parchment and quill on the spot. She then frowned down at the utensils in her tiny, grubby hands. "I need to make a spell for making ball point pens..."
"What's that?"
"Nothing, now this is who will probably be there..."
Francine Falrevere (13) - Later known as Duke Falrevere, who started and controls the Bloodsail Buccaneers, the only human-led pirating faction not controlled by goblins. Before he became this mustache twirling gentleman of piracy, Francine Falrevere was a snot-nosed, knobby-kneed brat who hated his given first name so much that he starting bawling whenever someone didn't call him 'Duke'. In the distant future, he is both a genius of naval logistics and a criminal mastermind who duped many adventurers into starting slaughtering sprees in the neutral goblin towns all for the promise of what seemed to be a hat.
Wallace Boltscrew (9) - One of the apprentices of the gnome ambassadors to Kul Tiras with a noble lineage, Wally is the son of the Falrevere family's retainers. While he is not close to the full potential of the tinkering gnomes, he was able to built a fully operational submarine by the time when he was twenty, while most of the world still did not believe ships could be anything but wood. At this moment however, he is a klutzy, nasally bookworm with thick glasses who trips over his own feet.
Finnall Goldensword (6) - Rumored to be a bastard daughter of Daelin Proudmoore and a High Elf wizard, Finnall is one of the few who remained behind in the Plaguelands when Arthas turned for the worst. She is perhaps the only one who never once left the frontlines, even when all of her own followers had left her. Jaina doesn't believe those silly rumors... Daelin might have been harsh on the orcs, but he would never have been disloyal to Mother, right? Right??? As Fin is currently, she is so shy, she hides behind Jaina around even people she is familiar with.
Zaphriel Zalaphil (9) - Later a loyal soldier of Kul Tiras, who fought against the Horde even after Daelin had parished and he had sustained crippling wounds that left him barely able to defeat a half-grown peasant, Zalaphil is at this time an aspiring squire. He also has the (mis)fortune of being stepped upon by Muradin Bronzebeard several times. Loyal, but perhaps too loyal if not aligned to Jaina's interests.
Danny Savoy (12) - Later known as Dannol Scurvgrin, the pirate lord who rivaled even Duke Falrevere in sheer skill of arms and ruthlessness as a ship captain despite never building up an entire faction to back himself up, Danny is a sickly boy who can't walk anywhere without his walking stick. He likes to sunbath and play with kittens, and is often the target of opportunity for many other noble-born boys who aspire to be bullies, such as Francine Falrevere. He is known to hold a grudge.
Eadric Crestfallen (16) - Later known as Eadric the Pure, Eadric left Jaina's service when she announced she would be fighting Daelin to save Thrall, an act that Eadric decried as horrifying. After the defeat of Archimond at the World Tree, Eadric joined the Argent Dawn to save the other human survivors from the Undead. Eadric, even at this young age, seemed to believe that humans should stand above all other races in the world, though perhaps the High Elves are their only equal. He is a Knight-Errant who was left to safeguard Kul Tiras, and is the son of the Duke of Crestfall, the second largest island within the Kul Tiras domain, second to the main island only.
Hammerton Drisbeard (8) - Son of the Count of Drisburg, the only Dwarf nobility sworn to Daelin Proudmoore of note, Hammerton does not have much of a future compared to the others, since he later dies to the undead scourge that burned down Drisburg. A hearty fellow, Hammerton was known to be one of the few who advocated more equality amongst races, mainly because Drisburg has equal portions of gnomes, dwarves, and humans in its population. He distrusts High Elves and thinks of them only as sneaky, big-eared knowledge-stealing poofs, however. He never grows to be much of a fighter, though he was a rising star in Kul Tiras politics before the undead struck.
"... Are ye done yet?" Moira complained.
"Yes, yes, now let me conjure up some chilled mead, and we'll be set." Jaina rolled her eyes good-naturedly. Somehow, this sort of interaction, so unlike the long-term planning and the magical studies she had done in the past, seemed to set herself at ease rather than cause her to stress over things.
What could this strange phenomenon be?
Maybe she should ask Father about it when she saw him next?
As it turned out, Jaina could conjure just about anything necessary for the party, and by the time all the invitations were written (by Moira), Jaina's formulas were all ready to come into fruition. Tarts and sweet stuffs of all sorts, bubbly, fizzy drinks, and all that, were all but overflowing from her fingertips, and she might have conjured enough scones and bread to fill entire barrels. It was better to have more than enough, than to have less, after all.
Strangely, some of the kitchen hands (apprentices and journeymen, really, since all the best and brightest were taken to go with Daelin), seemed oddly affronted by all of this. They would avoid Jaina not long after that, and she felt there was nothing she could do about it.
[ ] Stay with Moira Bronzebeard at the head table and socialize with whoever approaches. It is in the host's interests to be always visible at the party!
[ ] Go about and mingle amongst the guests, because there are actually many people who should get to know Jaina better, if even at all!
[ ] The teenage nobles have formed different factions, even at this age, it would be best to go and stop them from coming to conflicts at the party!
[ ] While it might not be for the best, Jaina isn't used to talking to boys. Why not gather the girls at the party and socialize with them in depths?
