It's the summer of the RPG at Sufficient Velocity - and that means prizes!

A size in characters or words might be simpler, but otherwise, cool! I have no idea how to condense a RPG description to be that small, but that will be an interesting experiment. I'm just grateful to have some motivation to work on a game presentation, because usually no one seems interested in new PnP systems due tot he effort of figuring out how to use one.

Dear miss Sketchbook, are we required to have a theme for play, or can it be open setting?
You can make an open setting game, but I don't really see the point! With a small game like this, it is always best to pick a strong theme and play to it. I want to play games that leave me imagining the story it will tell!

(Also "Miss Sketchbook" awww I'm blushing. Pro tip contestants, flattery will get you everywhere.)

Will we get any feedback if we don't win? Like, just something quick like "the dice results vary too widely on all the roles for your actions/results to be satifying, but I liked the initiative system and the theme was intriguing." I'd be dying if I knew I had been marked down but didn't know for what.

It should be possible for non-winners to trade criticism with each other, regardless of what else happens.

Question - Are we limited to a certain number of Entries?

Cause I have two half-baked systems that I have been fine tuning for a while now, and I bet I could get them on to a Five page book each.

Are we supposed to submit cover art, or is the front cover really just a title page?

Doesn't answer whether or not covers are required, which is the question I was asking.

Looking over the rules again, both a front and back cover are actually needed, yeah. For a micro-RPG like this, it shouldn't have to be anything particularly fancy though. For reference, this is the front cover of Abort Retry Fail:

Huh. I got a few ideas I've been wanting to do anyways, like the mad max-esque RPG I've been wanting to make...

Guess it's finally time to introduce SV to Bullshit Zombie Quest, a game about zombies (duh) and specious rationalizations.

I'm pretty into this kind of thing, so I'll see if I can give it a go.
