Character Creation 2
Well, there looks to be a tie between

[X] Other
[X] The Possessive Artifact

and

[X] Gentlemen
[X] The Man who Defies the Impossible

Normally I would ask for a tie breaker, but given that this quest is meant as a bit of a break for me, I'll just exercise QM's prerogative and choose the one that interests me more. So the winner is:

[X] Other
[X] The Possessive Artifact

You fall to the ground in a way that you suppose someone not an inaminate object would describe as 'frighteningly fast, but inexplicably gentle.' For you, the speed is mostly a non issue. No mere fall could ever break you. No, your worry and the current cause of your anxiety is the potential that you might fall where no one will find you. It's been so long. You yearn for contact, for someone through which to affect the world once more. Indeed, looking down at the stadium below you see several large bodies of water, and would shudder were you capable of it. You had been pulled here from the depths of the ocean. Indeed, despite what the so called Master of Ceremonies offered... You could say that your most fervent wish had already been thoroughly granted. Aeons had passed with you alternately covered and revealed in the deep dark of the ocean, occasionally shifted by currents, watching the very bedrock of the world erode with the passage of time.

But you reassured yourself, no longer. If this was meant to be some grand tournament for the greatest to compete in, then someone would surely sense your power. You would be found. Definitely. Unless- No. There was no unless. You would definitely be found. You repeat that to yourself fervently as you fall and come to your resting spot on the top of a large hill placed in the center of an open plain. On top of a pedestal even. Well. While you would much prefer to fall into someone's waiting hands, you had to admit that you could appreciate a good pedestal. Very regal. Still, once you were picked up... You were not letting your wielder get away from you again. Never again. You would not be consigned to the cold dark, the rust of ages, the long forgotten- never again.

Once more you hear the voice of the so-called Master of Ceremonies.

"Contestants! Welcome to what I lovingly refer to as Round Zero! Now, while I would never imply that any of you are less than worthy, I will say that my wonderful audience needs a manageable number of contestants to root for! So contestants, it falls upon you to distinguish yourselves in whatever way you choose! Around the stadium there have been a number of puzzles and dungeons carefully designed and placed to provide challenges, the artists among you might demonstrate your worth in that field, and, of course, eliminating the competition will surely provide an exciting spectacle to make yourself stand out! Good luck contestants! May you gain high ratings!"

...This leaves you a bit irritated. Hmph. You were a greater work of art than any had seen throughout the ages. Certainly you deserved to pass on that merit alone!

Someone would come by. No one ignored a pedestal this nice. And maybe they would think you were part of one of those puzzles the Master of Ceremonies mentioned?

What exactly do you look like?
[] Write-in a description or provide an image.

Someone does eventually come by. Who are they? (This will be your first aspect- essentially something you will need to call on to overcome challenges and obstacles.)
[] Wielded by (write-in).

What is your trouble aspect? (This is essentially the thing that will crop up as your primary personal struggle throughout the quest. If you choose to write-in keep in mind that it should be significant, but not all encompassing)
[] Abandonment Issues
[] My Precioussssss
[] Coveted by All
[] Write-in.

With the options for the trouble aspects I've presented feel free to include some input on what exactly they mean. I have ideas, but ultimately who your character is is up to you the players. Come up with interesting interpretations and ideas and I'm likely to use them!

[X] Backpack

[X] Some nerdy guy with purple hair.
[X] Abandonment Issues

[X] Wielded by a kind looking blonde girl.
[X] Abandonment Issues

[X] An earring, a teardrop-shaped piece of sapphire somehow veined with obsidian. It hangs from a thin silver wire.
[X] Hopeless Hippocrates - Your host devoted themselves to a life of healing, oath of pacifism and all - and failed at it in every measure.
[X] Reunions Are Awful - You regularly run into people who are familiar with whoever your current host is. It happens even if your host is a hermit. Somehow.
