I'm not exactly an expert on witch mobility, but it hasn't been very long in universe, so I wouldn't be suprised if she simply bunkered down before Ai ruined a perfectly fine all-they-can-suffer buffet. Actually, it couldn't hurt if that complaint comes up. It shouldn't be too hard to connect the dots, but we technically didn't drop that revalation on Sayaka and Madoka yet. Beat that, Mami!

if they go get mami, she's going to show up and shoot at ai and the witch and it's going to be a whole thing that could easily end with her witching out or ai switching to the queen of hatred out of frustration with being chain killed.

Honestly probably the best option to prevent future problems.

Also I'm noting some things. Sayaka is impulsive, fiercely protective, and has very strong moral convictions.

A little bit like Ai.

Our interactions with her could spawn some interesting deviations.

And let's hope that what's happening isn't the light, because I can see Sayaka Distorting very easily

Given I was talking about Sayaka's ironclad convictions being shattered here rather than the spiral starting from her pining for Kyosuke

That depends, does her becoming a witch herself teach her not to judge Ai too harshly? If yes, I call that a classical example of "defeat means friendship" and stellar magical girl conduct from Ai. Not even Nanoha is that efficient with her friendship lasers. :V

If the answer is no, I imagine the fight for the kohais is going to happen sooner than anyone anticipated. Let's hope Sayaka doesn't find out about it being Mami and does something stupid.

(More seriously, it's not a great outcome and I would have liked a chance to interact with her on less violent terms first, but then I also wanted to run away when she picked a fight. It could be an interesting turn of events though, given that witches are actually interactable.)
 
...I really wish we ran. Mami's a personal favorite.

If she Witched out, there's a real chance Homura shows up to put her down. Which is even worse, if Ai can actually talk it out.

It would be a great outcome, Mami will never accept us, just look at holy Mami in the mobile game, she watched someone use a doppel and instantly tried killing her from what I gathered.

*sniff* My hopes for friendship are ruined.

Oh well, she's probably witching out alone in her apartment, we'll probably be able to get candeloro since we didn't allow madoka and sayaka to go see her and potentially save her (wich was part of my intent in voting to get them so I would be happy if it happened).
