Lots of Dynasty quests use surveys and don't seem to have that problem, it prevents voting from the same IP, and you can just add a field for the voter's SV username.Because unfortunately people can't be trusted not to cheat and vote multiple times to make sure their options win
Use the setup several quests have where the survery goes up 8-12 hours after the update.
Not as long as you have a discussion period before opening voting. See torroar's quests where the discussion is no less intense for using survey voting. But whatever floats the GM's boat works best, there's also the approach that Sage_of_Eyes, Academia Nut and The Laurent use where they break each turn up into shorter sub turns where you vote for two categories at a time.
From mists quest: Aine's the PC's daughter and a crazy OP Life mage (this is Mists quest, EVERYONE is OP). Blows up small armies for stress relief, responds to getting an arm taken off by enemy magic biochemwar bullshit by just growing a new and improved one from wood and vines. Morganna's a disgusting OP shadow mage and ninja. Our default solution everything hostile was point Morganna at it - either it dies or we know exactly what its up to. She made herself an upgrade midquest where she turned herself into a shadow element fey thingamabob. Can't explain it without context, but it made soloing any enemy force without casters trivial - you can't fight a living shadow without magic.
Well, our core team is more or less all CPU Candidates or veteran adventurers, so that kind of power is expected-ishFrom mists quest: Aine's the PC's daughter and a crazy OP Life mage (this is Mists quest, EVERYONE is OP). O_OHey when we get another CPU does it have to be a canon one? Can we turn Compa into a CPU?
I've actually thought about it! Canonical CPUs already have compatibility confirmed, but IF and Compa might be too, along with the other Maker characters.Hey when we get another CPU does it have to be a canon one? Can we turn Compa into a CPU?
