Destroying the place is very different from completely focusing on the enemy over saving people like what happened with Lut. The chance of finding more survivors isn't really worth the risk of dropping out of CPU mode, being trapped by reinforcements, or being trapped by reinforcements as we drop out of CPU mode.

We're going to change back anyway. Destroying the place requires a share, its my understanding that the expenditure of that share is what causes the transformation.

Yes, and the difference is between changing back after destroying the place as we leave or possibly changing back from taking too long in the place or from being forced to fight more.
