AN: Well, this update is late as FOOK, sorry for that. I got distracted by the ton of work mid March, and getting rid of my stress by playing Warcraft 3 with friends. Oh yeah, also I was an idiot and started 2 other quests, and tried to keep my normal update schedule. Now, it's time to actually remember the plot for this.... Also, I am just gonna say that since you went into the mind of the most powerful arcane being on Azeroth. You know most of the spells.... We will meet the red dragon following us next update.
This is shorter than I wanted because I just wanted to get this out there.
[X] Disable it.
You decide that it would be too dangerous to leave it, but getting rid of it is too risky. Finding a way to disable it seems to be the best course of action for now. And since Malygos is still off moping, he doesn't need to know. Sending out a mana probe, you search for any mechanisms or controls left over. It's actually not all that hard, it works just like unplugging a cord from an outlet. As you remove it however, now that it's not connected to Malygos you are able to get a better look at its inner workings. It's a magic filter, well not exactly. It's function is to use Malygos as the magic filter. So each and every droplet of mana is filtered through him before being returned to the source. And since every little droplet of mana has the emotions and intent of its user infused into it...... Yeah, that might be another reason why he went crazy, besides the Old God whispers. And if Malygos was the filter, then it would not be smart to try absorbing the magic here. Damnit. Oh well, we still got something out of it at least. Now I should- why is everything dark? Did he- oh, he fell asleep. Well I guess I'm done for now. (Does this make us a therapist?) What random but surprisingly significant action should we do next?
