AN: I deeply apologize to all the members of my previous quests for leaving them out to dry and being sparse with short updates. I had developed apathetic depression through spring of 2016 and it was not properly medicated until September this year. This quest will be of a very different nature when compared to the previous one. As without a struggle or a major goal people lost interest fairly quickly. (And a shitty ninth graders writing.) And so I bitched about losing questers. (Apologies again) This first one will be short because we are deciding where the hell we start. And I can't write about leaving the egg if you decide to be a robot...

To all of you new-comers, welcome to questing with a scatterbrained GM.

----------------------------------------------

You feel for the first time, the pleasant warmth that suffuses your small form. How safe and secure it makes you feel. But how safe are you in reality? And where even are you?

[X] Unknown to all but a select few of it's inhabitants, this world has known the touch of truly godlike beings. The dragon population of this world has undergone significant alteration and empowerment by these creators in an effort to safeguard the planet. But something went wrong.

[X] You have been born as one of Akatosh's many children. Your kind has made Skyrim your home. The firstborn, Alduin, was slain by the dovahkiin 400 seasons ago. And the dovahkiin himself fell shortly after, during an attempt on Paarthurnax's life at the behest of the Blades. The death of the dovahkiin fed the hatred of dragons that Alduin fostered. The Blades rapidly expanded their organization, with the help of many of the dovahkiin's allies. Even surpassing the height of its power during the reign of Talos Stormcrown. You are surrounded by enemies, and allies are few and far between.

[X] In this world, dragons are nearly a myth. So long has it been since one was last sighted in Alagaësia. The borderline extinction of your race during the mad kings conquest might have something to do with that however. And as the last of the wild dragons, you have your work cut out for you just trying to survive.

[X] The end of the universe approaches, inevitable. And all dance for the amusement of cruel gods. The light of hope has long since gone out. And in this grim galaxy, there is only war.

[X] Azeroth (Warcraft)

[X] Tamriel (Elder Scrolls)

[X] Alagaësia (Inheritance Saga)

[X] Warhammer 40k

NOTE: You will keep bonuses from critical successes that occurred during this quest. The Nicol Bolas "title" will also receive major buffs considering that I didn't know anything about Magic the gathering beforehand.
Will this hold true if we start somewhere other than Tamriel? Because I'd really like to see a dragon with those buffs in Inheritance. Though I will absolutely vote for Tamriel again if that's what's needed to get those buffs.

Me want. Lol.
Would be interesting to quest here. Don't think i've read fiction here(the setting) where you are the dragon. And not harry merged with Shruiken.

[X] Alagaësia (Inheritance Saga)

The only thing I saw for the Inheritance Saga is auraofcalm's fanfic, which got all of one or two updates. Would be nice to see some of this. \O/

SO ABOUT THOSE BONUSES

Shush you, I can't do them until this vote completes. I can't theme a dragon from Warcraft after akatosh after all. The bonuses are in universe and the last quest hasn't been written off. The previous MC basically got 40k Khaine'd. Also seeing as I listened to the audio book version of the inheritance saga every single night while going to sleep(I still do.) I have a pretty good understanding of the universe... Mind you this is when we still used cassette tapes...

Ps: also it is in fact it's. planets in Warcraft Lore are actually living beings that grow up to be titans.

It was more of a joke about the incoming concentrated badass. :p

Blue infinity already got to the difference between it's and its, so I won't harp on that.

Some will be repurposed or redone, some will be locked at the beginning due to the fate of the previous protagonist. It depends.

Whelp, excited to be doing inheritance saga. There is not a single decent AU story I have seen of it so far.

----------------------------------------------

Vroengard, the capital of the dragon riders, their home and sanctuary, destroyed. Magic flows through the air just as the blood still wets the ground, even to this day. But magic in Alagaësia tends to have a will of its own, miracles and disasters both caused by the whims of magic. And as the ambient magic ceases its writhing in the air, the wind itself seems to still. Breaking from its stillness, the errant magic rockets towards the ground below, beneath the crust and the thousands of layers of rock. And causing the lifeblood of the planet itself to churn in anger.

----------------------------------------------

Murtagh rests quietly against Thorn, looking out over the plains between Dras-Leona and Urû'baen Zar'roc resting in the earth next to him. He tries to stay as far away from Galbitorix as possible whenever possible, and strange magic energy in the area was a decent enough excuse to be let outside to 'investigate'. The day was moderately windy, just enough to ripple the grass and toss his hair around a bit.

His resting is interrupted however by a rumbling and a jagged rend in the earth opening. Half a league long and 10 men wide, it belches liquid flame into the air. He reaches for Zar'roc out of reflex and then remembers he set it into the ground, retrieving it from its earthen sheath and jumping onto Thorn as the fissure widens. Thorn rises into the air to get a better view, and escape the spreading magma. The magical power has skyrocketed in the area and it is concentrated on the fissure.

A monolithic figure rises from the fissu -A molten giant so large that it dwarfs even Thorn in its size - A magma vent on its shoulder belching fire into the air. And as the giant begins to move out of the fissure it begins to close. Belching out one last piece of oddly smooth stone before it closes itself fully. And as the giant turns towards him, he realizes that he may be outmatched here. And that it is probably time to leave.

----------------------------------------------

The warmth of your shell has faded. You can feel a biting cold seeping in. There is no more time for relaxation. It is getting warmer now, very warm. It hurts. Why does it hurt. As you nibble your way out of the shell, you are alarmed to see some sort of writhing orange thing trying attack you. You lunge at it, accidentally breaking your way out of the shell. And as you look back on the remains of the only home you had ever known you are filled with primordial terror. You immediately break out into a run on legs you have never even used. Fleeing from this colossus of fire and stone.

----------------------------------------------

[Prologue done, character creation time now.]

Skulblaka you may be, but your soul and power is not native to this world. You possess magic not of the gramarye. What is hidden within the depths of your soul? Ah I see. Not your first time around the block is it? You are not as powerful as you once were, naive you may have been. But undeniably powerful. For now, that power is lost to you, and only fragments remain. But even an infinitesimally small shard of divinity is still divine power.

[{(Traits)}]: Being born anew as a dragon native to Alagaësia, you have a number of unique traits.

-Unlimited Growth: As long as you live, you will never stop growing.
-Lifespan Undefined: No dragon has died from old age, and most likely none ever will. You have an infinite lifespan.
-Eldunari: A gem in your chest, grows with you. Functions like an elder soulstone. Grows in power proportionate to its size
-Molten Core: Unlocked reaching 1 year of age; Fire Breath

-Wild Magic: Alagaësian magic is drawn from a source of arcane energy similar to nirn, but it has its own form of sentience. And there is a limit on how much you can draw before you are burnt to ash.
-Wild Magic Pool: 500/500
-Wild Magic Pool Growth Rate: 500 per year

[(Inheritance)]: (oh hey, a pun.)

-[Legacy of -[ERROR DATA NOT FOUND]]:
-Flame of Divinity:
Locked
-Divine Writ: Locked
-Realms of N!%#: Locked
-Divine Incarnation: Locked
-Judgement: Locked

-[Words of Power]: The ancient language and the Gramerye of Alagaësia are very similar to the way of the voice from Tamriel. And as such you are the only dragon who will actually be able to use magic, slightly different though it may be.
-Shouts Unlocked: Fus-Ro-Dah, Yol-Tor-Shul, Fo-Krah-Diin, Rii-Vaaz-Zol
-Wild Magic Costs:
-First Word: 10
-Second Word: 30
-Third Word: 50

-[Scion of The World Eater]: Locked

[(Additional actions)]:

[X] Accelerated Growth:
Desperate times call for desperate measures, you can grow to adult size in a matter of seconds at the cost of stunting your growth for twice the amount of years you skipped.

[X] Study: Choose Subcategory; You can't do this right now....
-Way of the Voice: Study the ancient dragon tongue and learn more words.
-Gramarye: Less initially powerful but much safer and more versatile than wild magic, worth looking into.
-Wild Magic: Attempt to stabilize the energy flow between the world and yourself. D100, requires a total score of 1000.

----------------------------------------------

What is the hue of your scales, Skulblaka? Abyssal Midnight? A Blood Red? Gleaming Gold or Brilliant Blue? The choice is ultimately yours...

[X] Color of Scales: Write in Required

----------------------------------------------

And what of your Nature? You can be a Paragon of virtue, benevolent to all. Or you can become a terror to all life, the monster in their nightmares... This is also entirely your choice.

[X] Personality: Write in Required

----------------------------------------------
