Ok, I vote for the denarian opening.
From the description, she might be in vault where Saluriel's coin. There's probably quite some resonance between the cursed mark and snake boy. Hell, Saluriel could easily take the mental form of Orochimaru, even if it's for the simple sake of messing with us and causing some extra emotional scarring.
The Fallen that cooperate with their host also tend to do sweeten the deal by improving the quality of life for the host by a big margin...

Tricky to manage, but with the cursed mark it should be doable to get ourselves out of there at some point, and for all that the Denarius might have more in common with Orochimaru directly, the Court seems closer to his methods, as it were.
Also, word to the wise: Do yourself the favour of making an index or threadmarking all the story posts ASAP. The longer you wait, the harder it gets, and the harder it is for new folks. Waaay too many quests require reading through each page to find updates, which is highly inefficient at best.

Announcement and Details of rewrite
I am sorry to announce that Hope Hallows Home again is officially going on hiatus/DEAD. I will be posting Fate Stay Night multi-crossover and Naruto quests that both have similar themes shortly. Thanks to everyone for your time and responses.
I will rewrite this story eventually and post for your enjoyment.
The revised story will be a multi-crossover where the main character of Jade is multispeed into three and each copy inhabits a body: Mei, Tenten and Tayuya each and are stuck in a different world:
Tayuya in Berserk
Tenten in The Dresden Files
Mei in Warhammer 40k
At the end of each turn the perspective will change to one of the other bodies and continue there story of levelling up and slowly going crazy. The quest will be Dark, bloody and full of morally questionable choices.
Since you put up with the long wait and since I enjoy viewer feedback is there anything you would like to see in the above scenarios and any questions as to how I plan to handle mechanics and characters guest appearances?
Its possible to have Jade in Tayuya wake up with a Behilt in hand and get into a situation which results in her becoming an apostle right of the bat.
Jade in Tenten is going to wake up where the current quest ends, about to get a blacked Denarius.
Jade in Mei can land where ever the viewers want. Does she land in the Eye of Terror and is corrupted into becoming a Champion of the Chaos Gods, Does she wake up a captive of the Dark Eldar or orks and either lead a rebellion or consign her self to a life of drudgery. Does she wake up a new recruit for the imperial guard?
you decide, so please fell free to put your suggestions forward now.

Wouldn't it be better if she went to warhammer fantasy instead of 40k? She doesn't have any mental defense, there are creature that are in a higher weight class than her, and in 40k we don't have any way to protect us from shot, or blown up in orbit.
Well as much as I like the idea of Warhammer Fantasy getting more publicity, Warhammer 40k offers more options as Jade in Mei can literally join any faction in game. Yes that includes things like the Tyranids or Necrons (though she won't enjoy her conscription).
Mental defences wise yeah the possibility of getting possessed exists but I'll avoid it, due to charkha as used by Naruto verse ninja's equalling a very nonstandard form pyscher manifestation in that universe you can avid some hazards from the Warp.
Funnily enough if the Ork Slave option ends up being used your non standard biology and charka can result in Jade in Mei transforming into a Ork over time and starting her own WAAAGH.
Armour wise you can get your hands on just about anything ,power armour, energy shields etc is available.

Making tayuya!jade an apostle right away wouldn't work since the ritual demands that you sacrfice people you truly love.
My proposition would be having her wake up in panicky state of mind, having her find a community that take her in and help her cope and settle in. After having formed a true and loving bonds with the members of the community (after having perhaps survived an attack by monsters, which would also give the opportunity to show jade's fighting prowess) she could find the behilit. Then, it's only a matter of forcing her to become an apostle with her realizing the cost of the ritual and exactly what she has done just a bit too late.
It would probably a bit of a slow burner, but the potential trainwreck would be truly magnificent.
Another idea for the fic in general would be to have jade start out in the dresdenverse get a blackened denarian, do whatever you have planned for her and end it with jade being killed by one of the knights or dresden himself. Then you could have her wake up in berserkverse and complete that timeline only to encounter Guts in battle. Warhammer 40k would then be the final stage of jade's plight.
This would ensure optimal mindfuckery.
