The idea here is simple. We are driven, killed, somewhat reckless, and marked by certain foreign ideals that make us diverge from traditional Rokugani society. However, our sincerity and good heart makes it hard to hold it against us, and even as others mumble and protest at our ways, they cannot deny that we act always in good faith and try to uphold the spirit of bushido - if not its letter.

I suck at names though so somebody please find a cool name to add to this plan

As for name, a minute's googling for Mongol names turned up Sarnai meaning Rose, and Moto Sarnai sounds like a name I wouldn't have blinked at back when I was playing the CCG?

@Maugan Ra for the bushido vote would most unicorn fall under free spirit due to not counting courtesy as high?

Unicorn clan is very much uncaring of gender outside the Utaku clan which has the Battle Madiens as the driving force. That is pretty much the only restriction I can think of on gender on the Unicorn.

No, if you vote for True of Heart you will be an adherent of bushido as you understand it, with the appropriate emphasis on different tenets. Literally every Clan favours a different part of the code, but they all think of themselves as honourable.

Except the Scorpion.

Unorthodox is how we are to unicorn not general rokugan beliefs so that is not what I think you want there as unicorn believes are already partly foreign to rokugan, more so for a Moto.
