"Works for me," I answer.

"If you can do runic stasis wards, that'd be nice," I add towards Cu ( @Omida ), "But let's get to it already, yes?"

I dunno how long the werewolf would be content to just stay there, so we might as well get the jump on it before it attacks the doctor and patients.

The thought of going into battle is a nerve-wracking thing, that I can't help but offer a silent prayer for the grace to succeed.

((Edit due to new GM info))

Suddenly, I hear a voice, but it doesn't belong to Setanta nor Kojirou. If anything, it sounds deep and echoing, coming from all around me. "Seek Paleblood to transcend the hunt," it says. How odd.

It reminds me of my newfound Revelation skill, the ability to hear a voice from the heavens. Is it God?

"Umm, does anyone know what a Paleblood is?" I ask my two companions, confused on what that is, "Because I just heard a voice saying to seek it, to 'transcend the hunt'."
Shaking my head, I approach the door.

"No idea, but given everything about Bloodborne, I would be wary of any ascending. Unless you fancy squid body, if I remember correctly." I add with a laugh.
"...If you where anyone else I would say ignore the spooky and probably eldritch voice, but you having Revelations muddies the water." I bemoan with a sigh, before looking at our local Irish puppy. "On your signal." I said, before activating presence concealment and slinking out quietly, trying to not alert the monster to my presence as I circled around, and waited.
"Yeah, yeah. Just remember, we want to give Ube a chance to reverse whatever it is that turned the poor sod."

That said, I grip Gae Bolg firmly with my right hand, resting it under my arm, my left hand reaching for the doorknob to open the door.

This was it. The beast's reaction will tell us just how much was holding from the game. Will it ignore us until we come close, or will it jump on new pray the moment we enter?

As the door slowly creaks open, the room opens up more clearly to the rest of the group. The room, just like the one you were in, seems to be another recovery room of sorts for the clinic. But it's clear was unused, and whoever the beast had found had broken in themselves. But it takes you only a fraction of a second to notice the glaring absence of the beast where you'd previously seen. Only after you hear a roar to the left of the door do ou realize the trap you'd just walked into, as the beast lunges at you with claws extended.

I nod. In that case, I'll wait and see. "Squid body wouldn't be as aesthetically pleasing," I quip.

Eeeeeep! Newfound instincts have me rolling forward, to try and evade the sudden lunge. Then, coating my flag in the warmth of holy light, I make sweeping motions towards the beast. As crescents of white purifying energy travel towards it, a brief, silent prayer is given for its deliverance from its affliction. If need be, I'd do more of this attack pattern unless things change.

Oh, Hello Minds Eye. My blade came up as I sidestepped, letting the monsters own momentum drag my blade across its side in an attempt to deal a descive blow early on in the fight, before it drags out too long, As I settle into a stance and wait for the others and the beasts reaction

Not at all like a game then. Hunter becomes hunted becomes hunter, all in a blink of an eye.

Within a heartbeat, I step back into the doorway, Gae Bolg swung upward to catch the beast across the stomach and launch it in the air. At the same time, my left hand quickly draws the array on the frame, stillness and ice and forgetfulness, the runes flash briefly before settling into the subdued glow.

"Honestly? I don't know a damn thing about this place. Just to be sure, did you make a sheet for an RP before you got here?"
"I did." I reply shakily before controlling my voice "though I didn't expect this. If I did... I'd have rolled an avenger class maybe. That really doesn't matter right now. Listen we've got to get up to street level. I guess we must be in sewers, maybe lower or central section. Which means..." I pause in thought for a moment. "That we could be between central Yharnam square and the Tomb of Oedon. The Tomb borders one of the major chapels which has enough incense to last the night... To keep the beasts away. You mentioned something about making sheets? I think I saw others sheets for that, so yeah I think we should try to find others like us first before moving to the Tomb."

I pull one of my knives and gesture to the bodies. "They uh... may not be dead as they appear so if you really can pull Archer's tricks get ready to spam them... and if you a pig hit it with strongest moves , they're the size of vans."

Great. Possible zombies and giant boars. "Right... I think you'll be guiding me through this place quite a bit..." I mutter, trying to keep myself from panicking at my new surroundings.

As both of your weapons rise up to meet the beast, so to does the beast's claws as they grab hold of your weapons and shove them aside as it smashes into the third member of your group. Both Hero and Beast are sent rolling through the various tables and beds scattered around the room, a few breaking into pieces. Before finally they both come to a stop with the hero pinned under the beast, the banner clenched between the beast's jaws being the only thig holding it back.

@UbeOne @Omida @shinkiro

It's only when the beast is seemingly unaffected by my attempt that my Revelation skill shows me more intel about it. Information that would prove to be vital. Because as it turns out, the large werewolf is too far gone, too corrupted in its state. Something or someone more powerful than me made it that way, and it turned my holy light into a buff in its favor, a brief burst of strength and half a minute of minor healing. So the way to go is to put it out of its misery, which is a mercy as well.

It's also the lightning bruiser type, strong and fast, albeit relatively predictable, and it's actually weak to serrated blades, like the flanges of my spearhead or the barbs of Gae Bolg. More importantly, it's especially weak to fire, except I'm not my Avenger self, who can freely wield the flames of the burning stake.

It's when I find myself rolled over and pinned down, fortunately without injury, but with my eyes widened and my flagpole between its jaws, that a desperate idea comes to mind. Holiness can come in the form of cleansing fire. And as much as I'm not a fan of fire, I'd much rather not be bitten nor devoured by the one in front of me.

And so I channel my saintly power once more, a warmth around me as white flames burst out towards the beast. At the same time, I kick upward, intending to get some space between it and myself. "It's too far gone. We need to kill it!" I say to my companions, "Serration and fire are best."

Heh, clever little beastie, however, its back is turned now, and well, I was fast, a slash aimed at one of the creatures lower legs, in an attempt to cripple its mobility as well as simply avoiding hitting my compatriot. "Keep it surrounded!" I barked, trying to press our numerical advantage.

Cursing, I let Gae Bolg be batted away where it bounces off harmlessly against the door while dismissing the runic trap on the frame. Stepping forward, I reverse the grip on the spear while quickly scribbling the runes of fire on the sides of its tip. A rush job, but better not to test how long it will take for the beast to gnaw through Ube's banner.

"Take this!" I grunt as I throw the soon burning Gae Bolg at the beast's side with all my strength.

"That's fine." I say before rolling my shoulders psyching myself up. "Remember, most people are too foar gone to help, animals are worse and the clergy are basically one step removed from Zolgen and in a far worse way, and if we get sepaarted and you hear someone talking about treasure, don't listen to them. That arachnid bastard will punt you off the nearest ledge. Now let's go."

The beast, distracted as it is with its prey pinned below it, was unprepared to defend itself from the attacks. As the fire suddenly springs forth from below it, you see something akin to fear in it's eyes. As the beast yelps and jumps away in a panic. unfortunately for it, not fast enough to dodge the two attacks coming in from behind it. The first attack strikes it's back leg, instantly bringing the creature down to it's knees. The next attack however is special, when Gae Bolg tears itself into the side of the beast, it seems to penetrate all the way into the heart of the beast. Blood splattering outwards from the wounded beast, even more so when Gae Bolg is wrenched from it's heart. Immediately, the beast collapses dead off to the side.

Almost as soon as the beast dies, just in the room ahead a blue glow appears. Looking over you notice the appearance of an unlit lamp that wasn't there before.

The fearful look of the beast's eyes is mirrored by the nervous one of my own, yet my white flames feel... comfortably warm...

Thanks to my teammates, we've managed to put the cursed werewolf to rest. I can't help but wince at the visceral image of it all. Then again, nobody said hunting was a clean business. I also breathe a sigh of relief, as the threat to us is no more.

New info reveals itself to me as I gaze upon the blue, glowing, unlit lamp. "Apparently it's called 'the path to the dream'..." I remark, "What do you think?"

Personally, it reminds me of a 'hunter's dream', whatever that is.

"I got nothing, I think the dream stuff was supposed to be good but i never played the damn game." I said with a shrug, turning to the downed beast. I think there was something called blood echos i could get from this? if it was like dark souls there was a thing i could collect to both level up and use as a currency, but how to go about doing it...

Shrugging, I come to the beast's corpse and, placing my foot on the body, wrench Gae Bolg out of its side, the blood spraying my entire front generously for the trouble. Good thing I managed to at least close my eyes in time. Spitting the blood from my mouth to the side and wiping it from my face, I glance at the lamp.

"Aye, that would be the path to the Hunter's Dream that doesn't involve dying. It's the hub place, and if you want to go from one place to another using those" I point with the spear at the glowing lamp "you need to pass through it every time. Has some other stuff, but anyone's guess if it's still present when it's reality and not a game." Coming closer, I squat before the lamp, inspecting it from up close. "Still, not sure how you activate one of these. You think we just need to lit it?"

"It's going to be cool." I said quietly before raising my lantern and leading the way.

The bodies were even worse up close and personal and I softly side stepped through them, taking great caution to not disturb them. Maybe it was my servant stat for concealment taking over but I made it through. I looked around the new area. I think we were in the lower cistern... would that have been the right word? Doesn't matter now I guess. There was a ladder though that lead to an upper level.

"This could either take us to below the warehouse area that Eileen is waiting inside, or the connecting bridge between central Yhranam and Cathedral ward." I lowered my lantern, unsheathed two of my knives and motioned for Kamen to follow.

"Heh Kamenarcher meeting Eileen? Those two traced blades would get a huge boost from the Blade of Mercy." I thought to myself.

I waited for Kamen to get closer before saying, "Because we had no idea, and eldritch gods don't understood humanity."

"Well, does heroes of Yharnam happen to sound familiar to you? Because if so that might shed some light on our situation, albeit very little." If I remember right, Miho was the one who submitted the Mash/Ritsuka sheet. That can't be a fun situation if they're inhabiting both bodies simultaneously, or I wonder if its like both are copies kinda?
I groan softly, my counterpart doing the same. "Bloodborne? Damnation..." Shaking my head, and hefting my "shiny new shield", I spoke again. "What do you recommend we do? I'm not all that familiar with that setting, and I'm still a little loopy from having my soul split."

I take a glance outside the exit to our alleyway. "I'm not entirely sure myself, best idea might be to head for Iosfka's clinic perhaps? There's always the chance we're not the only ones dragged here. Either way, looks like the patrol just passed by, so we should be clear to move now." I say as I slowly step out into the alley.

As you all step closer to the lamp, it suddenly lights up with an eldritch flame. You all almost seem compelled to touch the lamp, but before you can the glow seems to encompass you and the world around fades away. The world returns only a short few seconds later, but you find yourself in an entirely new location. Directly in front of you is a a path leading up to a small house of some sort. Lining the path, and all around the area, sit numerous tombstones. Including one glowing with the same light from the lamp. On a small platform next to the path sits a doll, staring lifelessly out in the distance.

You spend a few minutes exploring the sewer before you manage to find a ladder leading out, up above you see sits a house with a red lit lantern and a closed iron gate leading to courtyard. But guarding the ladder you see a giant of some type wandering around.

Blinking, I stare for a moment at the changed scenery. That was... unexpected. And, well...

"Conveniently automated. I suppose that's better than just randomly setting strange artifacts on fire."

Noticing the doll sitting close to the path, I grin. So we did make it to the Dream. Now, was she actually still 'asleep'or was this lifelessness simply the effect of her not being human?
"...Ah." I said, still on guard, as I catiously apporeached the doll. "Hello?" I ask, wondering just what was going on here... hopefully it was not another enemy.
"If I remember correctly, we need Insight to interact with her." Scratching back of my neck, I get closer to the Doll. "No idea how to get about gaining it tho. Unless one of ya can see her behaving differently then just sitting there with no sign of life."

Sighing, I shook my head.

"Gotta give it to Gehrman, the old fart is good at this." Which, considering he made Doll in Maria's image was also slightly creepy. Still, shrugging, I propped Gae Bolg against nervy tombstone and stepping back gave the Doll a bow. Then, grabbing it back, I turned to face others. "Just 'cause I can't interact with her now doesn't mean I need to be rude about it."
