This is after serious consideration. I like Pyrian's... particular approach to diplomacy, but at the end of the day I guess I'm just more fond of real, personal power than more efficient commanding. Hestias was a close runner-up, though.

The thing with this is that everyone from our siblings to adventurers and other factions will be gunning for us. The reason I am pro Hestias is that we can stick to the shadows and grow in power

This gives you time to accumulate power and influence without getting stuck in with your older brothers.

without having to worry about being wiped-out.
Also long term when we do go for the throne Hestias has the best chance of holding on to it without get non-stop raids called down on her like daddy Ragnaros whose ashes now.

It's less difficult when most of the land is made of obsidian and various levels of burning, and anything that isn't is lava.

Firelands are on fire, who'd have thunk it?

Joking aside, Hestias can't hide forever, as Power rises, so does your visibility. That being said, by the time that Surtos and Pyrian are able to casually notice you over their brawling, you should be strong enough that one of them can't trivially stomp you.

This is no protection from poking the giant apocalypse magma giant or the liquid flame monstrosity of course, but they rightly consider each other to be their primary rivals, and don't even know Hestias exists.

Hearthfire doesn't work that way--at the base level, it's pretty much just a Lightspring that works kind of like Basic Campfire.
