Both of those would run into the issue that her power, while it might not like healing all of the time, will not really be happy with almost never healing anything. It's worrisome to think how that might manifest... which makes it all the more interesting to see where the story is going to go with it, because it makes it almost a certainty that hiding things and playing it safe isn't going to work in the long run.
Yep, parahumans simply cannot refrain from using their powers in some capacity. That's the one fact Wildblow drove into our heads over and over again. There is some level of Shard interference in brain chemistry that drives hosts to use their powers, especially in stressful situations. She'll have to find an outlet, and if it can't be healing, then she'll be forced to branch out in other directions.

wonder how long she can keep her abilty's hidden power need to be used
and shaper just had a taste of the good stuff with the tree's thinks she will go double time on poking amy

This story has so much potential. The slowburn is to its benefit, but it would be nice to see Amy making some kind of impact on her environment soon.

I'm hoping to see an association with the legend of Garth Greenhand in the future. Or like a private guard of warrior brutes that encompass some of the cultures the North's worldbuilding is based on.

SHAPER'S DIARY ENTRY #2

By the Warrior, host Amelia is still at a fraction of the power I'd blessed her with, though at a very least, I have to admit that she seems to be going on her way there.

From what I've observed, she, while still (unfortunately) unwilling to alter the biological makeup of local
animal life, is no longer adverse herself from manipulating the genetic codes of local plant life, which is great, I guess. Better this over herself back in her local universe.

Now that out of the way, I will go over the "elephant in the room" that is what the locals called "Magic".

Really? They all really refer to my gift as "Magic"? What a bunch of fools those two nobles are! This "magic" they referred to is a result of my species' superior science, the art of bending the very fabric of reality itself to perform tasks too impossible for any lifeforms not of our calibers can ever mustered!

Imbeciles! What a grand and intoxicating innocence! It makes that idiot [MAKER] look like [HIGH PRIEST]. But then again, that's to be expected from those living in a world that – from what I've studied using my bio-retrocognition, which allows me to trace and see an organism's "book of life" – hadn't been making any progressions for centuries! Truly, it's a disservice to me and my host to be landed in such world!

Nevertheless, I wouldn't let that stop me from beginning my research upon the local organisms of this world, as well as poking host Amelia into her destined path. For I'm Queen Shaper, one of the prestigious Tsars and Tsarinas, chosen by our father, Zion The Warrior. Through the roaring wave, we triumphs!

End diary entry!

Summary: Queen Shaper goes from casual, to smug (the Negotiator got her XD), to being patriotic, let alone, Russian, for some reason.

Waiting for her to realize, if she wants to heal whoever the fuck she wants she better be strong enough (in various ways) to do that. Eventually, she might consider tinkering with her powers...

True. She better break through her comfort zone and embrace her inner Red Queen because with those like the worshippers of the Seven, the Dorkhari (I forgot the spelling 💀) and so forth, she's gonna need to grow herself up and use her power to the fullest if it means to help those in need of healing.

Seriously, she should've known the reasons why war medics are called WAR MEDICS in the first place. Besides the fact that they're medics who treat soldiers during wartimes, they are also trained to protect their patients, even if it means that they have to get their hands dirty like shooting enemies in the face.

Amy may find herself at some point recreating some of the plants from Earth Bet just so that she can have something from home. Like changing one plant into a tomato plant to grow her own tomatoes, she could claim that she had some seeds with her. Just passing on some medical knowledge that she has picked up would go a long way to helping this world. Telling them what some of the herbs and other plants could be used for would likely save a lot of lives. And, I hope she meets Lara again soon and fixes her vision in her bad eye.

Woah, slow down there Dagoth Ur. The last alternate timeline where you "poked" Amy too much, she became the bloody queen of an entire planet.

I'm sure Shaper would love that though. The bigger the conflict, the bigger the [DATA]?

Thanks for the writing! I love reading about Shards thinking about their hosts in their own semi-organic supercomputer ways.

Might makes right in the world of ASOISAF. Look at the Targaryens for example number one. And yes, she'll need a strong fortitude to accept that there will be consequences to her actions. That's just how it works here.

If Amy gets her hands on a dragon, I'm afraid that she won't be able to stop herself from improving it. A lot. And the rest of the lands should cower.

Think I'll just jump in at the most recent chapter and read from there. So far interested in what'll happen next and how the story will progress
