There will then be an elaborate side quest where Kirito will meet Tanngjostr and is taught the ways of doing battle as a Beast God. As in the normal vain of a character receiving incredible power, getting by on brute force, and then getting their ass kicked and retrained by a master in how to actually use that power. Cause there are differences between being a Fae/human sized critter and a twenty meter tall mass of barely contained, magically enhanced killing machine. Cue Tanngjostr doing stupid shit like making Kirito balance an egg in a human sized spoon, or hold his Bestial Form transformation until his mana pool is completely dry and he collapses from exhaustion.
Of course after Kirito wakes up from his exhaustion to find that he did not revert and the Shrine has been built around
him this time, Tanngjostr would finally see the funny side again.

And then there's the sparring practice.
[<The two Baphomet's faced each other, almost completely blocking the corridor like a pair of living walls. Behemoths of raw, physical power, children of a time when the world was still young, a place of ice and fire. Although both were of the same build and massive size, identical in virtually every way, there was a distinct impression that one was the young and uncertain student and the other the wise master.
"And most importantly you must remember my student." Tanngjostr said solemnly as he raised a single clawed finger. "When you do honorable battle, you must allow your opponent a chance at victory by not using your most powerful attack or changing your attack patterns until you are almost dead!"
The second Baphomet stared hard at the first, a dark haired Faerie girl atop his head nodding sagely as she took notes. Kirito had to admit, transforming into a titanic monster did have its benefits. He didn't even have to try or subtlety. His facepalms could shake mountains.]>
That's...brilliant. It's just like the Pixies ending up really embarrassed by anyone drawing attention to their sexual characteristics. A fragment of the game reinterpreted through the Transition. In this case the boss fight pacing holding for intelligent bosses (who of course should know to open with their best attacks) becomes part of the honour code of such beings.

Perhaps some of Louise and Agnes through the POV of Botan?
On the beast forms, I feel bad for Pina the first time Silica changes if being around normal dragons sets the feathered one off.
...I see now.
The small fuzzy super boss of ALO, it was never a bunny...okay maybe there might be some elite mobs that resemble Chime Cats and I suppose there could be more than one super fuzzy boss but don't you see!?!
The Rabbit is in fact a Feathered Dragon!
Somewhere in ALO is [<Caenia the Grand Matriarch]> a feathered dragon of normal-ish size, though distinguishable by the complex ritual markings adorning her entire body. The name is a fair description, at the head of the matriarchal feathered Dragons sits the oldest, wisest and most powerful of them all.
The markings are not innate, rather they are applied first magically by the Matriarch herself (Apparently this is roughly equivalent to willingly branding your entire body. This should make clear just how tough she is. - Koko). Then painted over by subordinate Matriarchs using an unknown but highly magical substance, that unlike the first layer is not permanent and must be reapplied every few years. The markings serve practical purpose, both as magical armour and to massively buff Caenia.
The ALfheim histories state that this ceremony also involves choosing the [<Grand Matriarch]> in some way but it seems Caenia has held the position for long enough to put this in doubt. (Some Kobold carvings even suggest she is considered level with the [<Eternal Dragons]> that they worship. - Koko)
It's so damn terrifying that a sufficiently well made replica is one of the ways to bypass fighting Tanngrisnir. Throw it out there and he will flee in abject [<Terror]>
EDIT: It was a joke boss. The joke being; "Ha ha, you are dead."
