Drax will probably die as well.Pretty sure Rocket is gonna bite it, and that makes me sad.
The movie looks really Rocket-heavy.
I do hope this movie avoids the pitfalls of Phase 4 and does more to advance an overarching meta-plot.

I wonder if somehow the old Gamora will come back from the dead, my cousin thinks Adam Warlock will be a factor in that happening, hope so. I liked Peter/Gamora as a couple, the romantic in me, wants to see them back together.
Finally we see Star Lord wearing the iconic military uniform and stopped being Star Manchild
Drax being killed off will still have an impact.Drax could go, but he wouldn't have the same emotional impact. Drax is just a walking punchline.
I'm not sure old Gamora will come back per say, but with Adam Warlock being a weird character with weird abilities, I think he might be able to basically merge their minds or something to make it effectively the same thing.
Also, given how Phase 4 did a hack job on Scarlet Witch, I'm willing to bet that Gamora is an antagonist in this film.
Given how many of the main actors have said they aren't coming back, I vote for a TPK.

Sypnosis said:Our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere, but it isn't long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocket's turbulent past.
Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket's life – a mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.
I hope not. Rather see Starlord/Gamora happen again then that happening.
In North America, the conclusion to Marvel's trilogy about a band of intergalactic misfits opened to $114 million, ranking as the second-biggest domestic opening weekend of the year, behind "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" ($146 million).
...
The latest "Guardians of the Galaxy" entry — the 32nd film in the sprawling Marvel Cinematic Universe — was especially popular in Imax, which accounted for $25 million of global ticket sales. That marks the biggest global opening of the year for Imax.
Still, "Guardians 3"'s initial performance in North America is mixed news for Marvel and Gunn — who now runs rival DC Studios — and is sparking further concern that superhero fatigue has settled in at the box office as the 2023 summer season kicks off. Only a year ago, for example, Marvel threequel "Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness" soared to a series-best $187 million in its domestic launch.
"Guardians 3" certainly doesn't lack for audience love; it earned an A CinemaScore and strong exit scores on PostTrak, and it's already paying off. ... Reviewers feel differently than do consumers, with the movie sporting the lowest Rotten Tomatoes critics score of the three films.
I thought box office numbers remained strong even in the recession 15 years ago? IIRC, it was all the numbers on the production side (employment, production budgets, financing, etc.) that dropped.People spend less on entertainment when money is tight, after all.
