Chapter 3: Week 1 - FREEDOM!!

You came out of your thoughts after going over your options and come up with the best course of action. While this creature may look harmless and oh so fluffy, it does look like Lina, a whole lot. You tell Mrs. S to keep an eye on it and without waiting for any response you bolt up to Lina's room and find nothing. Dot's normal spot under Lina's bed is empty, you go back into the hallway and call for them "LINA!! DOT!! Where are you!?"
Then you hear the fluffy creature bounding up the stairs with Lina's mom following after it. It
skids to a stop at your feet and sits down, its knees up with its hands touching the ground and bushy tail wagging happily.

You hope you get a treat! You came when Tris called you! Oh boy, maybe it will be chocolate with meat on the inside! Wait, why did Tris call you again? Maybe you should speak up and ask? You open your mouth to speak but Tris interrupts you "So, um, doggy? Where are Lina and Dot? Can you speak?" you cock your head in confusion, what a silly question, of course, you can speak! Though a part of you giggles and thinks you should pretend not to, you decide that you have been insulted, this will not stand!
"Of course I can speak, Tris! Why wouldn't I? That's just insulting." you grumble with narrowed, annoyed eyes. Tris and pack Mommy are now staring at you like you sprouted another tail. You check behind you and see that no, you still only have one. Tris visibly shakes her head to make herself focus on you then she visibly brightens and motions for pack Mommy and you to go to the kitchen, exclaiming "I have an idea!".
Once you all have arrived, you look at pack Mommy and share a confused stare, apparently, she has no idea why either. Tris comes back with something that makes your tail wag like mad and makes you bound from side to side, a treat!! Oh boy! Oh boy!
Tris tosses you the treat and you leap to catch it mid-air, you do and immediately start chewing the delicious/disgusting and yummy/sickening treat. As you happily/miserably eat, you feel yourself try to pull apart…

"Aha! I thought that was what it was! Lina must be a parahuman, Mrs. S." Tris addresses pack mommy, who visibly pales and her scent becomes more clouded with worry. Pack mommy starts stroking between the ears like you/Dot likes it and responds "Well then…..How do we get my Lina dear back? You're saying this is her and Dottie?" to which Tris nods and then holds her chin in a contemplative look then snaps her fingers with a look that screams 'I have an idea!'. For some reason that fills you with anxiety, but Tris is speaking again to you with a mischievous grin on her face "Lina, you know, dogs can't have chocolate, it's poison to them. Oh well, guess there's more for me!" You whine and almost break into tears, no chocolate, forever!?

You stand up and pet Dot, who is still a little unsteady looking but nuzzles into your hand regardless. You ignore Tris and mommy asking you questions, you wanna focus on this. You think about that same feeling of sinking into Dot….
You are back to being next to Pack mommy and Tris, you remember being in two previous places this time. A part of you knows you have to split away and as you accept this knowledge you feel the stretching sensation overcoming you again.
Yes, it worked! You and Dot are now separate again. You are a parahuman, for sure! You can't wait to do so many cool things.

You are determined to find out why tonight, during the day mommy always shoos you away from the papers she's always looking at with the excuse of "grown-up stuff". But not tonight! You think of the brilliant excuse if caught that you had trouble sleeping and just wanted some tea. You creep down the creaky stairs on tiptoes…
Luckily, the stairs make no noise and you sneak down and hide behind one of the big armchairs in the living room and peek around it to see when Mommy leaves. A few minutes pass before Mommy yawns loudly and starts shuffling towards her room, muttering greek curses under her breath as she goes. Once you're sure she isn't about to come back down you bolt over to the papers she left on the counter, it's dark so you retreat to grab a flashlight from a drawer in the room and see what you can make out.
It's unfortunately written in English but you can catch a few words you think are important on the documents. You gasp when you see a picture of your home and an amount of money below it, Mommy is selling the house!? B-But you love your house! D-Daddy and Mommy love this house and what would happen to all your special hiding spots? Your paint wall? Your Daddy's favorite reading spot?!
You shake your head and wipe your eyes when you notice tears staining the paper. You look through more papers and see things like "Loans" and "Bank Statement" again. But this time, at the very bottom of the stack, is the letter from those terrible rotten men, still slightly crumpled from Mommy. You still can't read a lot of English but you look for important bits like numbers, you see a one followed by four zeros after it, if you understand right, that's a lot. Oh, there's also a smaller number, this one is just a two and after it is….Mouths? No, moonths? Months? Yes, Months! Two months, that's….you count on your hands, eight...ish weeks. Wow, that's not a lot, Mommy needs some help.
In the morning you call Tris using your usual wistful monotone that you and Mommy are known for. She yawns and smacks her lips before answering sleepily "L-Lina? Is that you? What are you doing calling at-" she pauses and there's some ruffling noise "-six in the morning for?" she stretches out the for with a yawn. You ignore her sleepy attitude and say with a little sadness entering your monotone "I really, really need your help, Tris! It's important and you need to come over as soon as possible okay?" You wait for a response and are about to repeat it louder, fearing she fell asleep again when you hear her resigned sigh. "Yeah…..Yeah, I'll be there in an hour okay? Just, this better be good." she hangs up.
An hour and a half later, you are looking out the window intently before finally seeing Tris, you throw open the door and drag her inside despite her indignant "H-hey!" Marching her to your room. Once you are both seated on your bed comfortably, you explain what you found and Tris gasps at the news too. "I knew that they wanted money but Mrs. S didn't tell me she had so little time! She's seriously gonna sell this place?" You nod grimly and her face twists like she just ate something sour. You both go on to discuss and list the pros and cons of what to do, especially since you are a parahuman.

Ok, now it's time to start getting creative and trying to munchkin the heck out of our powers.
First things first, how does Power Experimentation work? We can dedicate half a week to it to roll some die, but are the results of our experimentation entirely random? Or could we help our roll by providing ideas and format ourselves? The difference being Lina blindly fusing with stuff, and having a good idea of what might or might not work.

Alright, and roughly how many experiments/tests/whatever can we fit in one action? Cause, as always, I got a lot of ideas.
Here's a snippet of the first ones to come to mind.

Please limit it two but if Its relatively quick ones that she can discover, thats fine. Have it be a max of 6 because thats the max I set for the Gain knowledge of fusions. You don't need to do the personality, and we don't want to have to find a shit ton of pictures and have to constantly say (Omit X and Y) it will be descriptions and you can imagine what it looks like. No, I meant for hte fusions we already got. Like, what does Digigirl look like? Do we got glowing lines and stuff? Is the only thing that changes when we fuse with Writing Stuff is the fact that our finger nails are wet with ink? The only one of our current fusions I know much about, appearance wise is Furry.
First and Foremost, we NEED to explore our Powers more. Without knowing our exact capabilities, we don't know how to properly apply those powers to get what we need. So, suggested experiments.

Well, can you atleast answer the "Do they look Human" question? Furry would be obviously either a Parahuman or a creation of one, but what about the others? Can they pass themselves off as a normal person?

Oh so sorry, missed that. The more dramatic the power level, the more dramatic the change. For example, Lina fused with a gun. She would gain a metallic sheen to her skin among other physical changes. If by popular demand we can add more dramatic appearances. But generally, the lower level powers, aka objects, will be small changes while living things and bigger things will be more dramatic.
So for most of ours, as long as we do something like wear gloves or shades (if Computer gives us Computer Eyes) or something similarly minimal, we could pass for normal?
