Girl's Frontline: Wicked Animandum

[X] "Вперед марш! Ypa, ypa!!!"
[X] "I'm fine… can't say the same for Hunter though."
[X] Don't take the bottle.
[X] the main hand
[X] "Y'know, even if a die here… shooting that gas canister, blasting you off and leaving you in the dust, and that surprised look on your face before I ruined your oh so expensive jacket and make up, and got away? Priceless."
[X] Leave silently, but smile smugly.

[X] "Sorry, but I think we'll pass!"
[X] "I'm fine… can't say the same for Hunter though."
[X] Take the bottle.
[X] The main hand.
Plays right into Veresk having lots of tricks under her sleeves.
[X] Glad you took that gas can in the face lightly.
Hunter didn't mess up that much as to deserve some vicious sass like Scarecrow did.
[X]Grab her hairpin as proof of victory
Or that ponytail thing.

[X] "What's that? Can't hear you over the asskicking we're about to give you!"
[X] "Yeah… just blew things a little out of proportion."
[X] Take the bottle.
[X] at least it wasn't you main hand.
(X) Throw her a frag grenade "The great hunter, felled by its own prey… poetic. It's been fun. Bye now~"
We don't want her getting back up. Finish her off with as much damage as possible. BOOM! Why the @#$% are you people giving her the scotch or some useless gesture instead of playing it safe? Edit your votes, please.

Note to @Lurkman: You really need to be more careful on these vote tallies to manually combine votes that are actually the same, but counted as different due to different wording, typos, etc.
e.g. '(x) The main hand.' vs, '(x) the main hand' -- One with a capital 'T' and a period, one without.
or '(x) Jump off the cliff.' vs. '(x) Jump off the cliff and yell "Jeronimooooo"!!' -- Two votes for the same action both count for that action, even if one decided to write in a slight variation.

EDIT: Deleted my last vote from this post by changing brackets to parentheses, since I voted differently in a later post.

Don't ya worry, I've been doing that all the time with the votes, I'm well aware of it. Just look at all the ones in the last tally, there were like 3 different votes for the same thing. Thanks for the heads up though. Glad to see people helping out ^^

In the last ones I'm aware of the variation in some of the votes, but if the variation doesn't win over the original vote they'll all just be counted towards the original.

Ah. That's good to know. Thanks :)

Maybe it's the fact that Veresk has no personal beef with Sangvis as a whole or this ringleader in particular. Hunter purposefully held back to not damage Veresk. And chances are high we might run into her again at some point. So what's the advantage of having Hunter be 200% mad next time we'll meet her? Or her buddy for that matter.

Except that 'Hunter back up'='Hunter resume chase'. We know this. Hunter knows this. Hunter knows that we knows this. We also all know that hunter not going for the kill wasn't out of the kindness of her heart. We are valuable to Sangvis alive. Plain and simple. We are valuable to her alive. Not so much her to us. She knows this. We knows this. Given the chance for us to finish her off, she shouldn't and wouldn't expect anything different from us. She is more useful to us dead than alive, and I have no moral compunctions about it given the circumstances.

BOOM!

lol. Furthermore, Varesk has a notable lack of #$%^'s to give regarding people being mad at her. We are sass incarnate.

Exactly. Veresk is so sassy, she doesn't even care about killing the ringleaders, just showing them who's boss. And just walking away from Hunter despite having every chance to kill her right there and now? It's bound to put an impression on someone.

On a sidenote, Veresk's usefulness expires the moment SF captures anyone else who was at the Alzome execution. Though Hunter might still have an interest in hunting lil' V just out of personal motive anyway, the same way she'd want to kick AR-15's butt in the game's story again. I'll let you guys decide whether that rivalry becomes a fun or a toxic one :^)

And if we do go for the kill on Hunter, well if we ever run into her again she will try to kill us. And I do not want to try and take her on when she's serious about it. Best leave her the scotch as a bit of a peace offer and hope that we don't run into her.

Edit: Plus I doubt Hunters in any shape to try and follow us at the moment, get hit by a jeep then through a wall may not have kill her but she should be injured enough that we can make our escape.

If we do kill Hunter its going to be a lot harder for us to talk our way out of fights with SF in the future.

She's still too much of a threat at the moment. Using the following as a write-in option might explain why (I've used the brackets and 'X' to make it my new vote, and am deleting my old vote from my old post. Feel free to join me.):

[X] "As fun as this was, hunter, we can't leave you alive here where you can keep hunting us remotely with your minions. You know how is it. Places to be, people to see, stuff to do. So tata for now." Pull the pin on a frag grenade as you talk and blow a kiss as you toss it onto her, timed to explode as it hits.

Correct me if i'm wrong but aren't we near the boarder of her territory anyway? once we cross into area S06 she's not a threat anymore. plus we should save the grenades we don't know when we'll get resupplied, its best just to leave now and not waste the equipment.

Think of it like this, once we hit the minefield Hunters troops cant follow, they don't have a path through and once we cross the boarder we're home free. The only things that can keep up with us are the drones and the dragoons, both of which aren't well armed.

Hell showing mercy and giving her the scotch will defiantly mess with her, which would be funny to see her reactions, and we dont really want SF to start treating us anymore seriously because at the moment all Veresk wouldn't be very high on their list of targets to look out for, we really dont want to get to the levels of AR team and 404.

think of it like this, if we start kill ringleader they are going to start throwing far more armored and armed units to take us down, we don't have the fire power to deal with that kind of heat.

Not interested in having drones and dragoons following in my footsteps and shooting at me while I'm trying to concentrate on picking my way through a minefield via a hand-scratched map while having little ability to dodge their fire because I'm constrained to a single path.

AA-12 driving and we should be able to keep any enemies off her back while she drives, and that's even of Hunter has any in the area left to begin with.

My Griffin T-doll can't possibly be this cute!
Coming soon to a Sangvis Ferri store near you.

Im with Izzzick on this one. Plus, i'd rather risk it to see if Hunter would appreciate the gesture and not send what's left of her forces to chase us. Besides, wasting explosives for dramatic effect is just lame. Might as well change my vote for

but... but... what's the point of that? It's not a peace-making gesture when we use it as a taunt to make her even angrier with our sass. We might as well use the grenade. It's no different as far as she's concerned.
And just because she wants us alive doesn't mean she won't shoot at us. This has been demonstrated already. Much easier to shoot at a doll without the intent to kill than a human, since you just need to avoid the processing core and memory banks... and maybe the power supply.

already trying to set herself free and reach for her weapons, but it would take a while
Hunters currently pined under a couple walls worth of rubble, it even says in the story she isn't getting free any time soon.

Veresk leaving the bottle could just be putting at her feet and getting in the jeep and leaving or rolling it towards Hunter. we don't have to approach her in anyway.

Well... ok... you'll have to change your vote to reflect that though. e.g. '(X) Leave her the bottle of scotch. "It was nothing personal hunter, but we have to go, sorry. Here, have this."' vs. the currently sassy and taunting '(X) Leave her the bottle of scotch "Here, something to soothe the pain of this utterly crushing defeat. Looking forward to next time, oh great hunter."

I'm still not convinced this is safe, for more than one reason. But everyone is obviously set on finding excuses for why it is, so I'll just shut up and stop beating the poor dead horsey.

Inserted tally

I'm aware I'm a day late again, blame it on the terrible traffic in my country forcing me to stand outside till my fingers freeze too much for me to type. But at least it was enough time for me to make a 2k word update again. Haven't seen those in a while, huh?

Also, yes, I am making you chose what measurement system V is gonna use. Why? Fuck if I know, thought of it on a whim. Please choose the right one :^)

I am so glad we got this far. Finally done with Area S09, having taken an astonishing 40 chapters, and now moving on to the next big thing. I hope you guys will appreciate what's to come in this brand new land of opportunity for our lil' V, and that you'll keep enjoying the quest as much as I do! Thanks again for reading, and enjoy!
