Is this boost permanent? If so definitely want to go for this.
How many dice do ghosts roll for this? Is it part of the qi section?

We have 5 contribution points, so getting a headstart on healing seems best.

It's for 2 turns (the next one and the one after).
Knew I forgot somthing.
It's a new category, so 1 dice. I will reveal that there are actions which will unlock ghost evolutions or just straight up new ghost types (and you'll get chance to switch when and if you unlock them) but for now you don't have Yin ghosts so 1 dice is all that's rolled there.
I'm going to say that median as it's a lump cost and dc action rather than progress that so long as the action that succeeded utilized Yin Qi for all of it (Ie 5 yin Qi) it would count as getting the double benefits.

okay, yin meridians just got more expensive than expected, but at this point we're already 29% of the way there.
For those who are just joining us, the Yin Meridian plan involves qi ghosts gathering Yin Qi and Wisdom ghosts teaching Breakthrough in the hopes of Guang Li breaking through multiple meridian DCs at once, thereby getting the benefits of opening twice as many meridians but only increasing the dc of the action by the normal amount. we should also consider buying the meridian cleansing stuff from the shop, but shouldn't take the meridian bonus from the fight reward because that will increase the dc of cleaning meridians manually and miss out on the 2x bonus.
Yin Qi gathering (28-3) = 25/17 aka 1 and 8/17(we need 5 yin qi for 85 progress total.)

I am going for Wisdom Ghost, and will also go for:
[X] Map Guang Li body [0/100]. Reduced progress needed to refine the body.
With the knowledge about QI types, it doesn't make sense to change his body yet. However, 100 progress is still 100 progress, and it might help to establish a baseline before changing his body.

Thanks. Here's the description we got for Yin Qi in case you are curious
the plan for this is to gather 5 Yin Qi, teach Guang Li Breakthrough, and hopefully have him open several meridians in one attempt. Meridians are harder to open the more you have opened, so the hope is that by getting double benefit form the meridians we do open we can catch up with our more talented peers in terms of qi gathering efficiency.
