Ghost/Echo 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Not really seeing it though? Ember and the non-humanoids is one thing, but there's an opportunity there for character growth, even if it doesn't necessarily lead to friendship. Everything else seems to be self-sufficient loners being occasionally frustrated and the general stress of the situation. Just my 2 cents.

Sorry, won't be posting today. (well, it's just reach 00:00 here so that's foregone conclusion) I'll post sometime in the morning after sleep (that's 6+ hours from now)

Ditto. Finishing up the last of my college assignments. I'll try and get something up tomorrow, hopefully the plot doesn't advance too far beyond my reach!

Maybe we should enforce the posting by rounds thing, because in a game like this it means the more frequent posters will really end up dominating not just interaction but the worldbuilding. @See my smile

I know I'm just an observer yet, but I was a tad confused over having recalled some mention of 'one post each before you make another' while seeing what looked like a game that was 'post as you're able'.

REMEMBER THE RULES.

As Kensai has mentioned this game works only when everyone is able to post with the same frequency. With that in mind, only one post each until everyone has been able to post per turn. That is all.

Sup. Sorry, spend the day with politics and warships.

I am here, time to roll.

EDIT: alamak

EDIT: post in. Well, that's was awkward.:p

I am rolling, since I am firing using my T9 CARV on the new enemy that just appeared, I get to roll an extra dice since I was prepared for an incoming enemy for a while.
Goal: Killing the big bad Hound.
EDIT: Hey, that's some pretty good rolls there. Super soldier training, heh.

I'm assuming that we can now have another round of posts, right?

Also, I'm not familiar with the diceroller of SV, so I'm going to test it in this post. It doesn't actually means anything, It's just a test.
Yuki no Yue threw 3 6-faced dice. Reason: Test Total: 10

More infodump on the Ghost World and a little bit of update on the result of my last Dice roll.

That was a cool infodump, the Ghost World is some kind of psychic realm? A bit like the Warp from WH40k but there is a slight contradiction, the FNU can't be in Singapore. I mean the thing is, in one of my earlier posts I said the TR got pretty much the entirety of the Earth and logically it's their capital. I'm just pointing it out.

EDIT: Here, I mentioned it in one of my first posts.
they are xenophobic toward anything that is not human. She is part of their special forces and she is quite a loyalist too but she wasn't as uptight as her colleagues back on Earth, the Capital of the Republic.

Right. I misread that. Though again, there is @always_confused whole Machine Republic as well as him mentioning rise of multiple new nations and one of my post mentioned the Free Nations Union. I'm thinking of the Earth basically being split into those 3 sides while each trying to eatablish dominance in the solar system with space colonies and Moon and Mars establishment. So definitely less Galaxy spanning empire and WH40k scale here as well as pushing tech level to FTL civilization yet.

We can wait for @always_confused to come posting back and see if we can unify a single canon out of this.

Galaxy spanning would be too big, kind of. That's just like jumping from a cell to a full-on sentient creature. I think we should go for the local cluster of stars which is like a more than a few thousand stars minimum. And not all of them are particularly colonized or habited. The thing is, going for a solar-system restricted universe, we'll have to change a lot of things that we built up earlier, one of them being the Volguen, its a creature originating from PK-484 which is in a distant solar system. @always_confused's multiple minor nations rising up and the Machine Republic, that's going to be a bit of a tight universe, and I'm pretty sure always confused worked on the assumption the nations got FTL.

We could always fit in a nation for each moon of the gas giants but eh... I don't find that particularly appealing.

The goal of the game is to go from what the other players' went for and build up from it too and so on. Unless it intrudes on another's player's character like I, unfortunately, did that time. I don't really like the option of going back and editing things.

Again, just a viewer rather than a participant yet, but my reading of the posts gave me the impression that the game does have more a galactic-level civilization and that both the Machine Republic and the FNU were located in other systems.

A more simple fix would just be changing Singapore to Neo/New Singapore ala the G Gundam way. FNU's nations are descended/corresponded to old world's countries but on space colonies or other planets.

I'm okay with that, as long as it isn't on Earth as that would contradict a previous information.

That's the impression I got as well, as there were mentions of aliens and all.

If we want a hard sci-fi universe tho, the local cluster of stars would make sense for a near future after humans got FTL. Or we could go in the far future and humanity got galaxy-wide empires. A single solar system will limit the universe a bit, to be fair.

On some level, I have to wonder how much me even so much as entering the game proper would throw that off, what with what I've already used in my intro post to describe the wraiths and Merlin's weapons and powers.

The Machine Republic is a pretty nation, mostly located on the fringes of civilization, with the odd planet here and there jutting into the territory of the bigger nations and dangerously exposed. BSI is a major player and is able to stalemate any other major faction in quality and quantity. There was a terrible pretense of nominally answering to the governments of the 'real' nations of humanity, but with the MMR rising up, all pretense is basically thrown out the window.

Channeling the Ghost Field to get whomever can make it to the other building.

EDIT: Most excellent! Bunny has now somehow called down the wrath of the Crawling Fettucine Creature. We are now deeper in the smelly brown stuff than mortal minds can encompass!
Kensai threw 2 6-faced dice. Reason: GOAL/DANGER Total: 3
