She closes her eyes for a moment before kneeling down and gesturing to her back for him to get on. She isn't quite sure if her master is fast like one of those racers back home, but even then she bested them, so it'd likely be faster if he were to ride her and run.

Callie was a Squid who had witness many things, she had fought against a tyrannical king before, been brainwashed by said king before being saved by her cousin and the new blood she employed, and her world was usually a chaotic mess anyways.

This, however, this was more bizarre than anything the idol has faced before. So confused was the famous singer, only one word went across her mind: what.

Ooookay, what was she doing before this? Last she recalled, she was meeting the newest agents her gramps recruited for the New Squidbeak Splatoon, two of which were the idols Pearl and Marina, while the third was an Octoling that had saved gramps when they were both lost in some metro. Words were exchanged and new friends were made and that should have been the end of it.

But now, Callie was in an unknown cave while a hulking behemoth that was nearly the size of a Steelhead studied her and eventually labeled her the "Master of Rider", whatever that meant.

As the behemoth explained the situation, Callie just got more confused. Apparently, she was on a new world that was in the middle of a war that dwarfed even the Great Turf War of her world! Not only that, but apparently she was supposed to fight in a separate war in order to obtain some sort of cup that can grant wishes. Great.

How did she get into this situation? It didn't matter, she was on a new planet somehow and the only way to get back to her world was to fight in this war and win this Grail. Despite being basically kidnapped, the idol refused to let despair consume her and, in truth, Callie couldn't help but feel a little excited, excited to see what this alien world was like (well, what it was like when the war isn't in the way) and the idea of being able to wish for anything was appealing to her, maybe she can ask for a life-time supply of peanut butter! ....Or something more useful and won't result in an earful from Marie.

Callie turned to the supposed "Rider" she was the "Master", a young woman supposedly named Mary Magdalene. With a grin, she extended her hand to her new partner.

"Hiya!" she said cheerfully, "name's Callie, and I guess I'm your Master, but please just call me Callie."

I snorted, as information streamed into my mind from both the memories that had been shoved into my brain as well as knowledge and insight permitted only to those with the right Skills. "The answer is basic bloody pattern recognition. Did you really not stop to take a second and think about how of the outside forces that we know about, there's one for each power source? No one, with the capability to extract energy, ignores the opportunity to grab some. By the Light, the bloody White Tower hoarded anything that could boost their power by even a decimal! I'm willing to bet at least some of the money I've won over the years that most, if not all of the armies have one of these "energy sources" under occupation, and of those who do, some of them would fight to the death to keep it. So, unlike every other idiot headed in that general direction, we're going to be taking the long way so that we can observe things from a distance that won't get us killed."

I paused as the rest of the idiot's words registered in my mind. "Also, I'm the Servant, how the hell are you exactly going to protect me?"

Feeling her master settle onto her back, Ammy gets up before going to walk out of the cave...before quickly speeding up into a run outside just out of habit from her more youthful years...and from times where Issun was always so impatient about how slow she was going and yelling to 'go full speed ahead!' She misses the little noisy pervert...

Her master would probably get used to her running eventually, but not yet and there is the fact they are both inside of a cave right now, so she's not gonna go full speed just yet.

I say as I took a look around apparently I'm in a cave surrounded by others and if I had just heard him right then I might be on an alien planet..supposedly to fight a war, Well at least that's (somewhat) better than having an awkward conversation with Soldier over what his favorite rockets are. So instead of standing around like a moron I turn to face the other person, I think the man called him a Berserker and Anti-Venom "Uh..Hi. I'm Tavish, apparently he said the two of us would be working together?"

Eddie Brock looked around, one moment he was in New York, having an argument with the Punisher, the second, they were in a damp cave. Being told they had to fight some sort of war...this is going to suck so bad. They sighed as they looked at the man with an eyepatch that was supposed to be their partner during this thing.

"We are Anti-Venom" Eddie said to the Demoman as his muscles bulged and stretched, a strange white substance crept from his feet and up his entire body. Soon covering him completely and leaving Tavish face-to-face with a creature with a mouthful of teeth and sinister red eyes.

I mean, Alzack and Bisca had some scary-cool combo shots with their magic bullets, but even then they were never really a good fight. If that's all there is to be afraid of I can protect you for sure!"

His heroic statement made, Natsu whips his hand around to point his thumb at his chest confidently.

"I..see. Well nice to meet you." I say as I look over the...what seems to be an alien. I mean I guess I'm fine with this as long as he doesn't try to do anything bad or stupid. "So...Anti-Venom what can ye do that cold be helpful in this war of sorts?" I start to inquire as I go over my weapons and Inventory, sighing in relief as I find some bottles of my favorite Beer, and my weapons, true none of them may have been created out of Australium like my upgraded ones but they'll have to make do for now. after doing that I equip my grenade launcher and shield for now, holstering the Eyelander in his sheathe on my back.

hmm. Judging from his inital reaction, while the situation itself was new, the severatiy of it was par for the course. Interesting. I could tell he would have fi right in with the locals of gensokyo with few minor cosmetic changes.

Cayde was about to open his mouth to give his opinion before a thought came to mind. Almost doubtlessly, all 12 other people are going to go towards the power sources. Why don't he and his Master just let them do the work for them, and go exploring in the mean time? There's nothing stopping them from doing that.

I scoffed at the assertion that a perfectly sensible awareness of the situation could be considered cowardly. "I take it you haven't bothered to consult the grail for this world's standard ammo sizes, have you? Perhaps you could eat the Lazer fire from the troopers you bull-headed moron, but in this world the average bullet ranges from "respectable" to "cruise missile in all but name". I know you have these impressive abilities with fire, but eating fire does not exactly match up with eating lead. I don't have to worry typically with those types of things because of my current relationship status with Death, but you're just one kid who gets way to easily over his head."

I continue to drag the two along the dark cave as I take deep breaths to calm my nerves (and my irritation). "Kid," I started off with, "Natsu. Please just promise me that you won't charge right in and get killed. Besides our connection being the only thing keeping me here on this blasted world, I really just don't need your death on my conscious." And we've moved from irritation to somber, I'm having more mood swings than the gir- I stop my thoughts as a crash of thunder echoes through the cave. Thunder. In a cave.

...Nynaeve, if you're somehow watching us, either shut up with the "forces of nature" deal, or at least give me advice as to how to convince this idiot to have a little patience in his life. Perhaps it said something that having any sort of negative "coincidental" made me immediately think of the older girl who kept smacking me on the head in our younger years for my pranks, and not my far more deadly wife. Or maybe Lady Luck has been trying to get into my pants for years now and is making her current displeasure known?

...Nah, couldn't happen.

As you leave the cave a rocky land stars you in the face. You spot another pair, a Giant wolf and a small human that is on it's back. They left the cave at the same time as you did but seem to be taking in the scenery for the moment. @Sinsystems

Horus stared at the pairs in front of him, outside of his duties to uphold the rules of the grail war, though they didn't have too many rules looking at the situation, he had free reign on what was to happen, for the most part. Perhaps he may use this as an opportunity to... amend some of his mistakes. His voice booms throughout the cave, all the pairs inside it hear the announcement he makes.

"I will allow you all Ten more minutes before I will forcefully eject you from the vicinity of the Grail. Go forth and meet with your allies far from this spot where those who are waiting for the twelve hours to end to slaughter you. This is my advice for you, Learn about each other away from prying eyes, and fight those who are upon this world and their armies to build a bond that will assist you in the battles ahead.

I Say to Anti-Venom mainly thinking about his offer to Heal my eye, on one hand having two eyes would be definite improvement over one eye and a cool eye patch, however on the other...it's Monoculus, every time I got my eye healed it always transforms into that and we'll have to fight it or deal with it's BS. not really worth it at the moment,

North-East? That is... not one of the options. There is probably no power source over there, unless the grail is actually really bad at sensing things. Cayde was about to open his mouth to give his opinion before a thought came to mind. Almost doubtlessly, all 12 other people are going to go towards the power sources. Why don't he and his Master just let them do the work for them, and go exploring in the mean time? There's nothing stopping them from doing that.

As you leave the cave a rocky land stars you in the face. You spot another pair, a Giant wolf and a small human that is on it's back. They left the cave at the same time as you did but seem to be taking in the scenery for the moment. @Sinsystems

Chang'e smiled as they left the cave to the rocky plain beyond, a seemingly endless expanse that seemed to stretch beyond the horizon into infinity. For a moment she just stared out into the distance savoring the feeling of taking the first step on a new journey, the anticipation of what that distant horizon promised them and the discoveries that the wind whispered into her ears as it swept across the rocky expanse.

"Ahh this is going to be so fun," she said to no one in particular as she reached for a particular Pokeball upon her belt, one that was adorned with a small sticker showing herself and Lillie alongside a cute little nebula cloud Pokemon, "Kaguya Light the night!!" she cried as she released the friend held within. With a cry of chiming crystals and moonlit joy did the Lunala within materialize in all her glory

The Emissary of the Moon and Chang'e close friend, the girl approached her without any fear or hesitation for she knew that Kaguya would never hurt her and they trusted each other to the bottom of their hearts. So it was no surprise that the Pokemon lowered her head to Chang'e's level and they pressed their foreheads together in a way that they had done so many times before.

"Hey Kaguya, i'd like you to meet Archer." Chang'e said motioning to her servant, Kaguya's gaze following the girl's gesture and in the moment her eyes locked with Cayde-6 he felt an overwhelming sense that if he let any harm come to Chang'e then this creature would feed him to a Guzzlord...even though he had no idea what a Guzzlord was.
