    • You could've sworn that you heard an Eagle cry gloriously as you stepped down onto Shoukaku's shoulder. You surveyed your target, the white/red/brown fight deck that lay on the bed adjacent to you, a good drop downward. You walked to the very edge of your perch, inhaling and exhaling as you prepared.

    "Err...what's e doing?" Takao spoke from behind you.

    "I....really don't know." Shoukaku offered reply as you took one step back.

    Nothing is true...

    Everything is permitted.

    You ran forward and leapt, keeping your feet below you as you descended toward your objective. You could feel the stares of the group of Kanmusu behind you as you fell, quickly reaching the point of impact. Your feet hit first as you rolled forward, landing on one of the two elevators as you turned back to the girls.

    Why they were clapping, you didn't know.

    But you saluted anyway.

    The elevator would've appeared to be lowering into nowhere for a normal person, but for a fairy it was like a doorway to a little pocket dimension. Sailors lived on their ships, after all, and you were no exception.

    She's a main character. Ergo she has plot armour. Which means that she can screw you over because 'MC powers lol'

    Seriously though gravitational manipulation is right up there with electromagnetic manipulation on the list of 'HIGHLY OVERPOWERED' powers.

    Oh yes...home sweet home....err...ship.

    You walk down a set of stairs and toward the mess hall, which is a rather large room for it being on a Kanmusu. You had been subject to a temporary emergency field transfer to the Carrier Akagi and her mess hall wasn't nearly as large as Shoukaku's for some reason or another that the RnDemons probably held n their black book of secrets. You passed two maintenance fairies as you approached the metal, vale sealed door to the mess. You placed you hand on it and...

    Was that gunfire?

    .....

    Ohmotherfuckernotagain.

    You quickly turn the metal loop until you hear the satisfying 'clank' that signals it's opening an run inside. The first thing you notice is that a few of the tables have been overturned to form improvised cover and the two fae that were crouching behind them. They both wore the outfits of Japanese pilots but had distinct differences in terms of features.

    This allowed you too identify your wingman Max, who was crouching behind the table on the right side of the room and grinning maniacally. The other guy ha dark hair...you didn't recognize him. The next thing you saw was right in front of you, which was the rest of your wingmates watching the spectacle. Kasumi had her arms crossed and was leaning on her right leg with Simon putting his hands on his hips and watching along with her. You had no idea what Bartholomew was planning to do but he looked read to spring.

    The loud bang snapped you out of your thoughts.

    "Take it back you fascist swine!" The dark haired one, who's accent identified him as French, shouted as he fired around the side of the table with his sidearm. He was quickly pinned down again as Max fired a few shots from his Walther at the opposing pilot.

    "Oh come on Frenchy, come on out, we can make up about it! I heard you guys were good kissers!"

    Despite how violent and dangerous this looked, it wasn't very uncommon. Max liked to flaunt a lot and this happened from time to time. Luckily, fairies were masters at repairing damage and Max never really had it out to kill one of his fellow pilots. He just wanted to beat them into submission. Fear was effective weapon, after all.

    [] Angry Lieutenant mode time. Threaten Max with a court marshal because you just fucking knew he did it.
    [] Walk in front of Max. Fucking dare him to shoot you. Fucking dare him.
    [] Kasumi, deal with it. (Diplomacy. Kasumi's good at that.)
    [] Simon, kick his ass. (Beatdown time.)
    [] Bartholomew....(Random.)
    [] Write in.

    • ... I take it that 'real' fae aren't quite as chibi as the artwork I've seen? Hard to crouch behind a table when you cant get your whole head into cover :p

    It's possible that, through the eyes of the Kanmusu and normal people, faeries look like... faeries.

    But from the eyes of the faeries themselves (and us, the 4th wall observers), they look normal.
