You look at Alaina, and she looks back at you. You jerk your head towards Catherine, subdued and worried as she sorts through possibilities in her mind, and Alaina nods slightly in understanding, loosening her grip on you. Just enough for you to leap free.
Dex-Test – Difficulty 3 (5-1(Right next to you) -1(Unaware)) Rolled 9,3,10, Rerolled 8, 4 successes, Good Success!
Gained skill! – Agility (Rank 1) – You have discovered that you can move at speed with grace and sure footing.
Using Alaina's shoulder as a springboard, you leap, your wings snapping out just long enough for you to glide the small distance to Catherine's shoulder, leaping once again to land, spread-eagle, atop her head.
Taken by surprise, Catherine gives out a small yelp as she topples sideways, and you cling to her head without digging your claws into her flesh. Likewise, you continue to cling to her head as she regains her balance, and stretching out your neck, lower your face so that your eyes meet.
She appears to be startled and a little angry with your surprise assault, but at least she's been shocked out of her fugue. And you have a tried and true method of assuaging anger in times like this:

She blinks in surprise. Once, twice, then for a third time.
And then she bursts into laughter.
Reaching up, she gently tugs you from her head, and you let her lift you, cradling you in her arms as she looks down at you now. Her hair is dishevelled, and her eyes are a little puffy, but she's smiling now, and the tension in the room that you hadn't even noticed until now shattered like so much glass and Alaina and Laurel's voices have joined in Catherine's laughter.
It takes a little while for the laughter that now fills the room to die away, but the atmosphere has lightened considerably. Conversation resumes, alongside Catherine's lessons, but this time, she attempts to teach you about some of the more practical aspects of your body. Specifically, she attempts to teach you to sneak and climb.

Dex-Test – Difficulty 6 (5-1(Small) +2(They know you're there)) Rolled 6,9,10, Rerolled 6, 4 Successes, Good Success!
At first, she taught you about your body's natural strength, though it will take some time for you to grow into it, she said as you hauled yourself up the side of a bookcase. Your claws dig into the wood and leave light scratches as Alaina waits nearby, ready in case you fall.
Gained Skill! – Climbing (Rank 1) – You've figured out a way to climb up sheer surfaces, your claws helping you to maintain your grip. You cannot, however, move at speed.
It was in the art of stealth that you really shone, however, as your small size and surprising speed allowed you to dart about the room. Only Laurel could consistently find you, her searching eyes scarily adept at finding you out, though towards the end even she was having trouble catching you.
Gained Skill! – Stealth (Rank 1, 1 XP to Rank 2) – You know how to mask your presence at a basic level and utilise the shadows to your advantage. Your small size helps with this quite a lot.
All this activity, however, leads to you being exhausted when Catherine finally called an end to the game, and you gratefully curled up in Alaina's lap as Laurel went to go and get you all food. One of your eyes lazily looking about the room as Alaina scratches that sweet spot right between your wings.
"Do you want to come exploring the castle with Neppy and Laurel and me tomorrow, Cathy?" Alaina asks, and though Catherine smiles, she shakes her head.
"I'm afraid I can't, I'm supposed to be in court tomorrow, Father is stepping up his teaching and I had to almost beg to get today off as it stands. I imagine he will be working me harder than usual as well." As Alaina pouted slightly in response, she laughed. "Chip-up now, Laurel will be with you. Besides, you'll know where I'll be. Come and visit us if you like. That is, if you're not too busy making mischief elsewhere."
Brightening again, Alaina nodded. "Okay!"
The remainder of your evening was largely uneventful, aside from the vast variety of food that Laurel brings back to you and Alaina's rooms. She needed the assistance of two other servants to carry it all, and it all ended up eaten.
Full and tired, you find it very easy to drop into slumber a short time later, curled up against Alaina in the bed you now share.
And as you sleep… You feel yourself dreaming.

Another dream interlude, coming up! It's basically establishing plot stuff so that you know the general situation of things. You'll be getting one more interlude after the exploration tomorrow, the last will remain a mystery I'm afraid, gotta keep some of my secrets after all.

I think it was 1 exp for each success beyond the first. In our climbing... We only had one dice. So just learned the skill. It was the 2/3 successes that got us the rank and bonus exp in stealth.

How do we get exp for the stats ? Also just training them, because i don´t know how we would train Intelligence/Wisdom that is likely coverd by some trait ...

If you do excellently in a roll, you might receive xp in the skill or trait used to make it. You will also be receiving xp at the end of events. You won't be doing so for this set of events because we're still in the introduction and I'm outright giving you skills, but you will later on and there will be options to spend them on rank-ups during the points between the events.
I am still working on the xp system (how much to award, and when) but another way to get xp is by writing omakes, which grant between one and three (or a trait) depending on quality.
