[X]Cowboys Vs Aliens: A 2.5d Doomlike in three acts, cataloguing an alien invasion during the Old West. It starts with your family being abducted by bandits. You follow them to a abandoned gold mine, where a crazed prospector rants about angels and doing the lords work while throwing dynamite at you in a boss fight. From there, you follow to a corral, where you fight a huge man with a Gatling gun. Upon killing him, you realize he is a cyborg. This is followed by an assault on a hidden mountain base where you fight bandits and cyborgs before fighting your first alien, a lizardman. The next act is you being rescued from dying in the desert by the cavalry and being taken to an old fort. Aliens assault it during the night, forcing you to fight wall climbing xenomorphs, plasma gun wielding sectoids, and cyborgs. The fort is destroyed and you retreat to a narrow canyon, where you and the survivors must make their way to a town with a telegraph station. Following your arrival at the town, which is crawling with more baddies, including lizardmen, you send a signal for help to an army fort. Hijacking a train, you manage to get to the fort, where you face off in a turret section with a cannon against alien vehicles and infantry. An imprisoned bandit, raving mad, manages to tell you where the aliens main base is. You lead an expedition to attack it while forces are drawn up for a counterattack. You assault the base, destroying it, and being teleported to the alien mothership. There, you manage to kill the alien Queen and save your family before turning on the self-destruct. Weaponry is an even mix of cowboy staples and alien firearms. The human weapons use the reloading gimmick of each press of the reload key loading one bullet, allowing for tactical reloading. The cyborg resembles the antagonist of Westworld(1973)
