Food of the Gods: 1955 - A Superhero Nation Game

No idea. Someone else stacked Super Int and it got threadmarked so I assumed we could.

He was a mechanic for various projects. That's all until Ambrosia came along.

Isn't this chinese, and it means deity not God. Japan doesn't have a single 'God' in the shinto religion.

It can also mean god. There's no One True God in Shinto Religion, I know.

Japan is really just China wannabes so they stole like a third of the characters from Mandarin and just put it in their own language.

;D

Excuse me? I was thinking more of

For example, my strongest superhero was a female military admin officer, who was accidentally dosed with the stuff. There are ways.

I'm looking forward to the awkward moment for either of us when a black or native person respectively tests positive for Ambrosia sensitivity. :V

Anyway. I'm going to get on Canadian Iron Man tout suite.

You do that. Meanwhile, i'll get Infinite Stratos, Metal Gears, and Next Gen Ship Girls. ;D

Hero name: Yim Wing Chun (Official name), the Crane (Unofficial but popular name)
Real name: Lu Shu Huai
Sex: Female
Age: 22
Bio:
Born in 1933, and with the luck to be in a relatively well-off family, Lu was displaced from her home in Shanghai rather brutally when the Japanese invaded in 1937, when she was only four years old. Separated from her family in the chaos and being the youngest daughter of eight siblings, she was quietly forgotten and little effort was expended to search for her.

Abandoned, she was taken in by the survivors from the 88th Division from the Battle of Shanghai, and wherever the battered veterans went, she went with them, and slowly she matured and grew in martial prowess and street smarts. Despite only being twelve when the Japanese were finally defeated she took part in the following civil war, running ammunition and supplies, as well as relaying messages, from one hotspot to another.

With the rather humiliating retreat to the island of Taiwan there was little place for a young woman such as her with her abnormal set of skills, and so when Ambrosia began to be disseminated in the world community, and the Nationalist government began the 超人 (Superman) Project, she eagerly volunteered with nothing to lose.

When she proved receptive to the quirk of nature, yet another stage in her life began. After a whirlwind of training, education, press conferences, and propaganda film shoots Lu is no longer a mere peasant girl abandoned by her family, but is also Yim Wing Chun, the legendary first master of the martial art. Exceedingly skilled in martial arts and fighting with weapons, she is the Republic of China's first hero and here to stay.
Public persona:
Although she very often appears on television shows, propaganda shoots, and military parades, she doesn't actually talk that much and is very reserved in both character and emotion. Doesn't trust people easily but loyal to the end for those she does, and she has only a few friends but cares for them deeply. Fiercely protective of those around her (almost to a fault) and on missions she attacks her objective with single-minded determination.

Shinsengumi (新選組 New Selected Group) - Japan's Heroes

Active Roster

Hero name: Kami (神 God)

Real name: Hideo Kojima (小島 秀夫 Kojima Hideo)

Sex: Male

Age: 33

Born in Tokyo, Hideo grew up independent due to his parents working. He spent most of his time staying at home and just reading, losing himself in stories to stave off loneliness due to his shy nature. Growing up, he wanted liked to tinker with things and found that he was rather talented at it. Helping at a shop part time to help his parents pay off the bills, he was discovered by an air force mechanic, who immediately informed the government. Japan was on the lookout for talents and immediately jumped on him, fostering his talent and propelling him to greater heights. During the war, Hideo was brought onto various projects, gaining valuable experience and knowledge.

When Ambrosia was discovered and the method dispersed, instead of using it on a soldier, the government decided to take a chance on Hideo, who gladly took the opportunity to gain super powers. It wasn't evident at first, but when his power manifested, Japan felt that it was a good investment.

Public persona: Kami is a symbol of hope to the people after the bombings. While he doesn't exude attractiveness or charisma, he makes up for it with his kindness and his work ethics, using all his focus in order to make a better tomorrow in any way possible.
