FMA Brotherhood: Wahrheit (Current Arc: A Small Peace)

Cool. I'm thinking left arm, maybe a kidney and one of our legs. Though what you lose is subjective. Ed lost only limbs. Al lost his whole body. And then there's the whole Ed doesn't grow thing lol. And their teacher lost her uterus I believe. It's been some time since I saw that episode.

They actually lot something of Value, Roy lost his eyesight and his ability too "See his ideal Country", Izumi lost the ability too give birth again since she was trying too bring back her baby, Al lost his whole body so he could never feel his mothers warmth, regardless of whether she was brought back. And Ed lost his leg so he could "Stand Tall" with.

Ed lost his leg and his arm to save Al, Ed losing his (moral) leg to stand on for human transmutation, and his arm (his ability to hold on) for his brother

Al Lost his body and was placed in a suit of armor. I can't remember the symbolic nature of that... perhaps because he loved the world and the experiences that his senses and body could give to him, with Ed giving him the ability to live and help his brother, but not feel the world around him.

For Izumi... she wanted to see her child that would never live... and instead lost the ability to have any other children... But it didn't stop her from raising two young boys into fine young men.

And mustang because he wanted to see the golden future that awaited amesteris.

[X] Plan: Guardian Wolf of Victory
-[X] Garen Wulfsige
-[X]Place Image here (ignore horns and tattoo)
-[X]1901: The Ishvallen Civil Conflict: "Civil Strife has consumed the region… a soldier shot and killed a child, and that seemed to break any peace in the region… They are Bringing in the Military. So much for peace" (Start 13 Years Prior to the Brotherhood Series)
-[X]The Adopted Child: You had been adopted by a man whom you grew to respect as a father. And were made a part of his family in turn... for better and for worse.
-[X]As A Utility: The wonders of Alchemy is that it can help with many things that may seem a bit… unusual. Making industrial-grade goods in only a few minutes, make a phone, a radio… helping with Crops and irrigation? That is the way Alchemy should be used… As a way to help people.

Truth is actually a good guy he just teach us that we can not be him or try to become him it the natural order just live like you live like how Edward gave up his alchemy for his friends

well, the gate seems to take physical abilities rather than merely specific abilities
takes an arm, takes the sight by damaging the eyes, takes body parts etc

so it has to be a physical incapacitation that difficult his goal/job

loosing ears so they can no longer hear the truth would be pretty ironic

Deaf, Mute, Blindness, nerve damage... they are all... very interesting ideas for problematic things that our intrepid reporter (or veteran) can deal with.

blindnes,hearing,nerve damage

i think i have an imagineative one:

brain damage causing ''blackouts'' or memory holes, causing a sort of ''cycle''
each cycle can last anywhere between days,to weeks

example: writting, then blackout happens and you dont remember how you got there,so you walk to home, then blackout out again and be surprised you are home, when the last thing you remember was being in the office writting

the journalist can only be aware of the memories of one cycle at a time, not simultaneously

so you have him esentially living with a fractured memory,2 lives paralel to each other, and has to find a way to coordinate between blackouts

But what to call it...

Flashing? Flash forwarding... enigma?

flash forward sounds good,a writted an example of how it would work as mechanic

example: writting, then blackout happens and you dont remember how you got there,so you walk to home, then blackout out again and be surprised you are home, when the last thing you remember was being in the office writting

it would make an interesting aproach for phylosophy, given that we are the sum of our experiences
so over time, how much the personalitie of each ''cycle'' would drift?

and how would communicate and coordinate together?

a man seeking the truth forced to being unable of having the ''whole picture'' of his own life

voice box getting deleted would also be a ironic punishment for using human transmutation to try and warn somebody

So since we're currently lacking a title here I came up with a few ideas.

Equivalent Exchange
The World's One And Only Truth
The Ishval Conspiracy
The Truth Of Alchemy
Uncovering The Truth
The Calamity of Xerxes

Ohh. This is going to be good.
Pass, since this is possibly going to be an ongoing investigation in this quest, something needs to attract the eye.
The World's One And Only Truth
Possibly.
The Ishval Conspiracy
A damn good first arc name if we begin there.
The Truth Of Alchemy
This is not an Edward Elric story. Though he will appear eventually. As it is Hoenhiems story told through the eyes of his children.
Uncovering The Truth
Possibly.
The Calamity of Xerxes
We aren't in that time period so that is a very hard no.

That is also pretty damn good, especially since I have experience writing a mute Charecter.
