[X] Make for the aerodrome and land properly (Safer landing but a potentially dangerous journey)

On the bright side, we did make it well past the 20 minute average life expectency.

Zero points awarded for landing the aircraft and then bleeding out in a random field because you can't get out of the cockpit.

The odds are too good that if we land just anywhere, we wind up dying because nobody's going to get to us in time.

Although we're probably out anyway - no way to get through this without the docs noticing our lack of a certain part, and possession of a few others.

Leg wounds, if not untreated, can pretty quickly kill ya.

This is potentially the end of the quest without dying unless we get really lucky and our first responder doesn't say anything.

2d10+2 please.

2-7: Stalking
Once the immediate life-threatening danger had passed and you were simply pressing for home, you found yourself feeling increasingly faint. There was a spreading red blotch on the canvas under the rudder pedals, and you listed in the cockpit, like your head was too heavy for your neck. You were doing your best to only use your other leg, but sometimes you had to apply right rudder and every time it stung.

At least the pain kept you conscious.

You were passing over the rail junction that indicated the halfway point to the aerodrome when you noticed a second shadow against the ground. You cast around you and spotted it, perhaps two hundred metres above you and behind, flying perpendicular to your course. You didn't struggle at all to identify it: it was the plane that attacked you, it had to be. Same nose shape, same tail, same bluish colour. He'd come to finish you off. He'd come to kill you.

Your hands trembled on the controls.

What do you do?

...Well, looks like open_sketch might be getting her wish for a quest where the protagonist is actually a guy sooner than expected, because I suspect Maria is not long for this world now.

But she should not not go quietly.
