Setup.3
You are Leonardo Chu, or easily shortened as "Leo". Just another young lad in the vast populace of the Vanate Empire. Living in a small town, born to an ordinary household, and grew up with very little formal education - you are as ordinary as one could get. You could go into a crowd and meld in so naturally that you might as well be invisible to the common eye. Not memorable, but not forgettable either.

VOTE BY PLAN.

You have the following base stats:

HP: 12
ATK: 3
MAG: 1
DEF: 2
RES: 2
details
Each character has five stats, namely Health, Attack, Magic, Defense, and Resist. Each one of these stats contribute to the character's capabilities in combat, and will determine what occurs on the battlefield. The values of these stats can be increased or decreased by using various equipment and items, and be affected by various skills and abilities.

Health (HP) - This determines the character's life. Once it reaches zero, that character will die.
Attack (ATK) - This stat determines a character's physical offensive capabilities.
Magic (MAG) - This stat determines a character's magical offensive capabilities.
Defense (DEF) - This determines the character's defense against physical attacks.
Resistance (RES) - This determines the character's defense against magical attacks.

You have five (5) bonus points to allocate to the stat/s of your choice. To vote, type [] STAT + POINT/S (e.g. [] HP + 1, [] ATK + 2).

You can gain a bonus level on a skill as part of the commoner background benefits. Select one from the following options:
[] [Riding]
[] [Charisma]
[] [Luck]
[] [Prodigy]
details
Each character has their own set of skills which aid them both in and out of combat, and every skill has levels which determine their effects - getting better as the skill's level increases. Most skills start at 1 and cap out at 5, but there are certain skills which are automatically maxed out as they are obtained.

The [Riding] skill determines the character's capability to ride a mount, in and out of combat. It also determines how one can handle mountable creatures.
The [Charisma] skill affects the character's social interactions, whether it be in a positive or negative approach.
The [Luck] skill allows a character to reroll a failed dice roll. It also affects a character's ability to encounter fortunate events and get out of unfortunate ones.
The [Prodigy] skill heightens the character's growth, with regards to their stats, skills, etc., as they "level up".

And finally, finish off the setup.

Eh, why not? I like Fire Emblem Quests.

Also, what about Skill and Speed? These are two very important skills.

I have no opinions on hometown name or childhood friend, so I copied those from [] Plan Aptitude.

For now, double attacks only occur if you have something that grants you the effect of a brave weapon. Critical hits will be dictated by dice rolls.
Oh, so just like in Genealogy and Thrasia 776? By the way, didn't play both of these myself, but I do know a tiny bit about them.

Hey, that's okay. I wanted to do the same thing at first by putting more to defense than strength, but I decided to take my chances with [] Plan Aptitude instead. It's a good thing that there is at least more than one plan.

Larton is a small town near the southeastern coasts within the Vanate Empire's borders. With most of its income coming from aquaculture, it rarely gets attention from outsiders - and when it does, most of the time it involves seafarers that are merely passing by. Possessing no real strategic value to the Empire, Larton's only means of protection are the town guards, and the occasional visiting soldiers from the border patrol. Despite this, the town has remained safe and sound for the past two months, ever since war began - its inhabitants continue to live their daily, mundane lives as they have done for years.

You are Leonardo Chu. Or just simply "Leo". An ordinary boy born and raised in the unremarkable town of Larton, just like your parents. The war doesn't really concern you, besides the fact that your father has signed up for the military in hopes of obtaining a higher pay - though you're very certain he'll be returning sooner than you expect, as a humble fisherman like him won't pass off as a soldier. Your mother, on the other hand, has been drowning herself in worry, most of the time leaving her market stall unattended. Fortunately, her birthday is coming on the following day, and you should be able to cheer her up by then. Maybe. You don't really have much a plan, besides deciding to celebrate her special day to lift her spirits.

You've spent most of the day roaming around, trying to come up with an idea on how to actually execute the celebration, but to no avail. You eventually come to the conclusion that it would be better to ask someone else to help you out on this matter.

And so, you head to your most trusted companion - Maria, a girl with the same age as yours. You've known her ever since you were little, with the two of you meeting first at a playing field near the town hall. It's too bad that the field had to be removed to make way for a new house, but that's just how it is. Unlike you, who's neither forgettable nor memorable, Maria has grown up to be quite a face - at least within the standards of this mundane town. She often gets bothered by various suitors, and she's always counted on you to deal with them while she runs off, as expected from a free spirit like her.

The two of you usually met at an abandoned port, and that's where you expect she would be at the moment. And as fate would have it, on your way there, you stumble upon Maria - who seemed to running from something. Well, scratch that, it's not something but someone. As you help her steady her feet, you asked her what the problem was.

"Oh, just another guy.", she nonchalantly said as she sneakily moved behind you like it was a practiced dance routine. "Take care of him for me, alright?"

You sighed, but gave an approving response. At this point, after getting a yes from you, she'd be bolting to head who knows where and do whatever she feels like doing.

[] You stop her and make her to stay put.
[] You let her do as she pleases. You'll just look for her later on.

[X] You let her do as she pleases. You'll just look for her later on.

Can't see the problem other than it could cause something that would get us to somehow fight bandits. Because Fire Emblem has to be bandits as the first fight.
