Damn, i was worried it would simply go the usual fanfic way of "railroad into canon" where she meets the undersiders/lung and is taken by them, and then proceed to have similar 'missions' than in canon.

If I understand correctly, part of her power is to do things perfectly, while the consequences of oath breaking is to fail horribly at the worst possible moment.
Would the oath-curse overpower her ability, or would she be able to mitigate things somewhat?
I'm hoping for the former, because the image of Contessa going in to do her usual effortless win, only to trip over her own feet, is hilarious. Seriously, can you imagine her face.
Will Taylor get any cult from that video? She's got the at least the nation and probably the world terrified of her. I would bet she also surpasses the endbringers in terms of awe inspiring and raw terror just by her form, though she hasn't done anything bad to back that up other than killing Sophia and damaging her school.
I have also got to say that whoever took that cell phone video was either a Caldron plant or the bravest student in history. That guy has a hell of a lot of balls. Everyone else was running for their lives, Taylor had already demonstrated an AoE fire attack, tackled someone through a wall with super strength, and he was like "I got this". Whoever it is has a glorious, if short, future ahead of him in war reporting.

I don't know about Cecelyne but the Kimbery charm All Things Betray would seem appropriate if things continue as they are. When your a wanted criminal, betrayal is always around the corner, although I have trouble deciding which IBT she'd get first.Endymion said:

She doesn't have this charm, and we have been told that she won't take any more Malfeas charm for a good long while. There are however some semi-similar charms from Kimbery themed around filial duty, though they probably won't be the type Taylor take (as she will also focus on Adorjan, who isn't for stifling people's freedom).Yog said:

She cut ties to him in order to protect him though. Anyway, given the last 3 updates i think Taylor will first get Adorjan charms, maybe she is going to go Freedom Lets Go (the scene where she is cutting ties) and now she needs 'some way to live/do with not much money' AND she just ran from her home, which screams all kind of Adorjan things like Running To Forever and possibly Unimpeded Perfection of Exertion. Also, she might go the Tragic Love amusement route if she does want to make new friends.Starfield said:

Well, Freedom Lets Go essentially makes it really easy for the Infernal to go 'I don't care about X anymore,' which obviously isn't a good fit with 'running away from everything you love to protect it'. If you don't love it anymore, you have no reason to run away.Harish said:
Intolerable Burning Truths: Mother Before Daughter could be summed up as 'ancestors are more important than you are'. It more or less makes the Infernal completely incapable of betraying an ancestor (in this case, a parent), potentially obsessed with protecting or helping them, and allows the Infernal to know where that person is a lot more easily. Needless to say, the manifestation of this need not be at all healthy; Taylor could be reasonably expected to end up stalking Danny, for example. It fits a lot better with the theme of running away in order to protect her family than would severing all emotional ties to the very thing she's trying to protect.
