[X] Go and get physical access to the antenna, though it risks a direct confrontation if they guess where you're going.

Well, guess we're fighting a supervillain team now.

Looks like it was a good choice not to go talk with Firewatch ourselves.

[X] Go and confront them and try to keep them talking until help can arrive: Try to negotiate your surrender.

I'm curious as to what they'd have to say.

[X] Go with Marisa and Anna and try to use yourself as bait to pull the enemy into a trap.

Interval 19: Belfry
[x] Go and get physical access to the antenna, though it risks a direct confrontation if they guess where you're going.

"We have friends we can call, but we'll need to get to that antenna. And I don't think you can actually beat those guys unless you've got heavy weapons stashed somewhere."

"Maitta is bringing the emergency cache up," says Delona. "But we only have so much. We didn't actually fabricate any military equipment because it's illegal. This place was–" she sighs. "Kind of a hobby I guess."

"Why'd you build it?" You ask as she leads you out of the room at a hasty jog.

"To see if we could." Delona glances over at Marisa. "In case the Lemnosi fleet ever comes in and drops kinetics on us or something. My sister thought, well, she thought that the Enclosing Lady would provide a basis for survival if the worst happened."

You arrive at an elevator and step inside. "How many are you?"

"Twenty, but only a few of us can really fight. I'm not sure if we'll be able to hold them off." The lift rises, then jerks to a stop as the lights cut out. Delona curses and grabs the doors, and her muscles, clearly nonstandard, bunch alarmingly as she levers them open. You're between floors, with the top of the lift looking out on a partly completed loft space of girders and braces, lit by rays filtering through from further away in the structure. Only a local power failure. "At least we made it to the belfry," says Delona, then pulls herself through. "Come on, quick. Who knows how long the rest of the power will last."

You crawl out of the lift, careful not to get your hair caught, and look around. A lattice of jointed arms and molecular cables extends around you, like a forest canopy beneath the sky of the dome. The design is obviously meant to prevent the inside of the sphere shaking itself apart in the event of a nuclear strike. It's a change of pace and style from the ersatz dyson interior. A backstage that Reizay wide-eyes with a little relief.

"We probably should have armoured the outside better." Marisa looks down. "It's kind of disheartening they just blew through with a shape charge."

"We should burying the next one." Delona says. "This one was way to easy to find. If these guys can find it then so could a Lemnosi infiltration team. We'd take a warhead."

<<These people are also crazy.>> Reizay sends over the link. You think it sounds like a fun project.

"Anyhow we'd better climb. Mattia has the drones engaging but the attackers are cutting through them pretty fast. Firewatch you said? They're tough. I heard they were just a bunch of freaks."

You begin to climb up, running up spars and climbing across ropes. The going is not too hard, though Reizay is taking deep, fast breaths as you climb. At each landing you pause to cover below, the extra time long worth it not to get ambushed.

"I'm having Maitta send up some of the emergency cache through the cargo tubes." says Delona.

"We should have made them larger. Then we could crawl through them." says Anna.

"That'd have been an unacceptable structural compromise. Also, infiltrators could do the same." You don't think this is the first time they've had this argument and it continues all the way to the top, where you find a cloth-walled platform feebly attempting to recall the dysonisme style with some printed codes that ripple in your passing breeze. Inside is the transmitter, a homebrewed design with a spin ice lattice suspended in a supercooled diamond cage under the transceiver array, with console attached. Reizay doesn't waste time. As the rest of you deploy to cover all the angles you can, she walks over, plugs in, and taps in commands.

After an agonising several seconds, she announces."I'm through to Luyu."

"Hey," Luyu's voice says out of the air. "Got into some trouble?"

"Just a bit." You look down at the sound of a not-so-distant explosion. They're getting closer. "How about you?"

"Had some cutie try to flatline me. She shouldn't be a problem for a while."

"Are you expanded in scope?"

"Very successfully. Where do you need me?"

You send a locational ping. "Got it. Hold out for me okay?"

"See you soon. Cutie didn't lock up her shuttle properly."

Delona, Maris and Anna are unpacking catapults and assault drones from a pack on one side. "They're moving up the shaft." Delona reports. "Mattia is out of drones, and I think she's hit."

"She's hit?" Anna straps on a catapult and checks the action then slots through a clip of grenades.

"You know how she is. Being all tough about it." She looks over at you. "I think you have more experience of this than I do. How do you want to play this?" She hands you a catapult and you clip it on.

"We should…"

[ ] "Set up a kill zone in the struts. We'll ambush them as soon as they come up."
[ ] "I still don't think we can take them. We can escape through the roof hatch. That way they'd be forced to come through it at us."
[ ] "We should get out through the roof hatch and just withdraw into the woods while they look for us."
[ ] "We've got a spin state generator. We can pass it off as a monopolar collapse rig, then they probably won't want to fire into this room even if it is shielded. We bluff and negotiate from there."
[ ] "This loft space has good concealment. We could move through it and just hide until backup arrives."

Hmm, they all sound like reasonable options. I think this makes the most sense to me:

[X] "I still don't think we can take them. We can escape through the roof hatch. That way they'd be forced to come through it at us."

I wonder how many Luyus are coming to help?
