[X] Do nothing. Much as you don't like Sigyn dad probably did something to anger her, it's dad that's kind of his thing with the Aesir. Not to mention he'll be fine, shove an apple in his mouth and everything gets sorted out… that is how it works, right?

Getting Sigyn's approval is really important so we can have at least a safe place at home. Attacking is defenitely a no tho it may gain us some respect if she's warrior!mom. Talking is mostly likely to get her to turn her ire towards us. Doing nothing would let Loki handle the burnt of her anger, so we can deal with her when she's calmer and make a better first impression.

[X] You don't like her but dad wants to talk to her maybe you can help like that. If it's not dad talking she might listen. Jormy probably won't like it, you aren't sure you do, but it might be smarter than attacking her. Or it might make things worse….

It might not be wise, but I think it will be fun.

I think it might be important to try to get good with her. In my experience with mythology, all cultures share the common theme of the half-children being killed by the stepmother, directly or indirectly.

We've had a lot of bombshells dropped on us and though we stuck by dad and kinda are too young/aren't facing it we have had our image of him never doing wrong loudly broken. I think Dad having a second mom who is currently charging around with a spear is the point at which we give up and nope out :V

[X] You don't care who she is no one threatens your dad! You'll pounce into action, lock your teeth around her wrist or something and make her stop! Maybe it's not what dad or Hel would do but it'll make you feel better and help so it's a win-win.

She is going to attack our father no one attacks our kin and gets away with it! For Valhalla!

(plus I want to get fenrir to be better at fighting so we can defend ourselves in preparation for ragnarok)

With everyone, really.

Question - Is it possible to avoid Ragnarok with the right steps?

We've stayed on track to date. The big turning points were:
-Loki's children being hostile to the Aesir when first found - Approximately the same. Jormungandr is very grumpy, Hel is creepy, but Fenrir is more amiable than he was...though he did try to eat Odin's bird.
-Loki's children living in Asgard.

The next phase is our growing too big and the fearful Aesir attempt to disable us. Jormungandr to be thrown out into the ocean where he grew endlessly huge and had a bajillion sea monsters for children. Fenrir to be chained down after he grew too huge, being fooled by Tyr's offering of his sword arm, and then biting it off out of spite(which led to Ragnarok anyway, because one of the major reasons it went that poorly was because the disarmed Tyr left Odin and Thor dealing with most of the fighting, and meant that there was no voice of reason when they clamored to imprison and torture Loki.

I wasn't necessarily asking if we are on track to avoid it. I was asking the OP if it is inevitable that Ragnarok happen in some form or fashion, even if different than predicted.

Ragnarok as in the eventual dethroning and death of the gods is immutable. The exact events, such as Fenrir eating Odin and Jormy poisoning Thor, are very changeable. Hope that helps :)

Could Fenrir and his family ever simply leave in order to build a life away from Asgard or is existence small enough that doing so is impossible?
